This is a convenient, in the middle of everything property. It has a welcoming lobby and friendly staff.

First time staying there . the property was great and the staff wonderful @ check in . Our bed however was hard as a rock and we really didn't get much sleep also the room had ants .. after telling the staff about both problems there was really no offer of compensation or an offer to stay again . Due to the lack of empathy we probably wont be staying at this location again and choose to go to the best western just down the road .. I worked in the hotel business for 20+ years and i know how important the complaints are and how important this is to have happy customers but I felt like the staff really didn't care much :( word of mouth is everything as well .

The Good: Service was good; front desk staff very helpful. Pool and gym looked good (didn’t use but took a peek). Location is great, close to everything. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Couch, desk and chair, and table. It allowed us to play board games in our room, which we really like. Nature based art was lovely and fitting. Lots of accessible plugs. Lights and tables on both sides of bed. A BIG plus! The Bad: A Long mirror opposite bed. The bath fan is very loud and you could hear other people’s bath fans running, too.

The breakfasts were worth the price. However, two major issues: First, the electronic room keys refused to work, necessitating a trek to the front desk every time we returned…and, the desk clerk became downright surly after my numerous requests for key resets! Second, the online rate I signed up for was supposed to be $134/night. The check in clerk insisted that because I’d gone thru Travelocity, the rate was $169….and would not budge! I can assure you we won’t be back!

Location, Location, Location!
We always stay at Comfort Suites when we are in Corvallis. Friendly staff, nice and quiet rooms and great location. This time we were in town for the OSU-Purdue football game and discovered another amenity -- the shuttle bus to the game is 50 yards from the hotel. We saved the hassle of finding parking/traffic and saved a small fortune too!
