DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE A SERVICE ANIMAL
DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE A SERVICE ANIMAL I booked on Expedia and hotel said it accepted pets. At check-in I informed Kamal that we had a small service dog (trained to calm someone with PTSD who is having a panic attack) and he stated that they only have a room on the second floor and he was not allowed to put us in that room because a service dog had to be accomodated on the first floor, based on Oregon rules. We were traveling back from Yuma AZ and have not had any issues at any hotel, and have been accomodated on various floors. I tried explaining the service dog rules to Kamal but he simply stated that a service dog could ONLY be accomodated on the ground floor "in case of fire". Per Oregon state law and Title III of the ADA require reasonable accommodation in places of public accommodation. (42 U.S.C. 12182). "Service animals must be allowed in all areas where members of the public are allowed to go" I guess he could get a more money from a walk-in as opposed to an Expedia booking.

Horrible experience with bedding that obviously hadn’t been changed from prior guest.
Tremendous disappointment. Drapes were broken. A half eaten dog biscuit was found under one pillow on the bed. Not noticed until the a.m., as we would have left. Obviously THE SHEETS WERE NOT CLEAN!!!!! Jackhammer outside our window kept my wife awake half the night. Horrible experience.

No Comfort at the Inn
Literally the worst hotel stay in my life. I was warned by several friends and family members to stay at the comfort inn south instead. Everyone told me the staff is completely rude as is the cleaning crew. Everyone said they were charged a minimum $300 i Up to my sister who was charged over $900 in damages. All for completely ridiculous reasons and things most of which the staff wouldn't show them. Everyone told me to not give them my card info for the deposit and just to give them.thd minimum cash deposit. I there June 30 till july 2nd with my two boys ages 11 and 12 to take my boys fishing dor my birthday. When we got up and ready to leave i do just as i do at every hotel....i pick up and throw away all tash, soda cans and wipe dow. Every single surface. When i went to the front desk to get my deposit the completely rude front desk lady with 5 o'clock shadow said they were keeping my deposit for damages to my room. After arguing with her for about 10min she started screaming at me to leave or she would call the cops. I told her go for it. Want me to do it for you? And i did. An officer came and i explained everything and he went inside then came.out and said he was able to get half my $250 deposit back and a bag of "ruined" towels, all of which looked brand new. The officer asked if i could take this up with corporate so it didn't get out of hand as he could tell i was extremely pissed off. I told him that was exactly what my plan was. I thanked him and left. I wouldn't ever stay there again even if someone paid me. No way.

Nice friendly desk clerks and owners!
I was treated like a special guest, and the desk clerk and owners didn't mind helping me with a bit of extra help. I am in a wheelchair, and needed help with my breakfast tray and reaching for items and they were real kind and helpful. Clean comfortable rooms.
