Each and every time we travel up from Georgia we stay at the Coho and have a most pleasant stay and don't want to leave. Always clean, a courteous staff and an awesome view from the seaside rooms. Love the breakfast each morning. We have been coming back here for years and will continue to and we are looking foward to seeing it after the upgrades that are coming.
Booked a last minute room on a Friday afternoon with us arriving the next day (had made reservations at another hotel a month prior and when I called the day before they said it was never made). We had the sunset suite and it was amazing. We were celebrating our fifth wedding anniversary and they had the room setup with s bottle of champagne with a card saying happy anniversary and rose petals on the floor and bed. The view is obviously amazing as the hotel sits on the beach, the staff is all so friendly. We didn’t eat breakfast there because we had lunch plans for Newport but the food looked good for a complimentary breakfast (eggs sausage bagels cereal). And they give you fresh ground coffee for the French press in the room. Will definitely be staying here again!
Perfect Oregon coast stay
My husband and I stay here annually and can always rely on a beautiful room, impeccable views, and kind staff! We switched rooms twice (our own fault) and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating to our requests. Good waffles and coffee for breakfast.
Ocean View from room was wonderful. But hotel needs some improvements.
There was a medical emergency at the hotel when I was there. A young (~12) child stopped breathing while in the hot tub, unsupervised by a parent. Need tighter restrictions/posting for children using the pool area. Hotel REALLY needs to have basic medical supplies available for use if needed (the hotel did not even have an AED). Luckily the child started breathing once pulled out of the hot tub and was taken away by ambulance. Rooms need AC, ours was quite hot making sleeping difficult. The fan in the room did help.
Oregon coast road trip
Relied on reviews to find this roadside gem... it's an older motel that has been update. The ocean view from our room was spectacular. It was great to leave the window open and listen to the ocean at night. Breakfast was good.
