Maybe wait for construction to be done for a visit
We booked 1 night in a king jacuzzi for my husband and I for our anniversary, along with couples massage. I was called to schedule the massage time in advance and was offered 2:45 with an early check in at 2, to give us time relax prior to the massages. We arrived at 2:15 and the “front desk”, which is located in the breakfast area, said we were early, with a bit of an attitude. I explained that I was told to arrive at 2 and she told us the room would be ready shortly. I got a call at 2:30 saying the room was ready. After check in, we headed to our room to find neither key worked. So we stopped by the massage area to let know know we were here and we were informed they needed start the massages now, as they were booked for the rest of the day. So we dragged our luggage and into the small spa room. I didn’t get a chance to use the restroom or anything prior to the massage. One of the massage therapists was kind enough to run down and get our keys fixed. The massages were lovely, even with the rushed start. The room was nice and looked recently remodeled. The bed was comfortable and we had a partial view of the ocean. It was a great location to watch the sunset. The breakfast was awkward and crowded. They had the “front desk” in the area and no tables or chairs to sit and eat. You needed to grab a tray and bring it back to your room. You were practically tripping over the other hotel guests to get food. The whole hotel is showing signs of the remodel. There was a large construction dumpster below our room and we took a stair case that led us to more construction. I suspect that after construction is completed, the whole place will look and be running better. But I would recommend waiting until then.
You’ve got to stay here! The service was out of this world, from my first call to book until we checked out the staff and massage therapists were amazing-Making sure our every need was met. Polly is the best! We had the most beautiful room with the perfect view!! Breakfast was a great spread from eggs & sausage to waffles, muffins, juices, & more- all the goodies! Everything was out of this world- We will definitely be back to stay!
Friendly Staff & Great Breakfast
My spouse, 2 dogs, and myself come here for the first time last month and loved the place. We like it so much we'll be back for Thanksgivings. Normally we don't get to use the pools and hot tubs because you can't take dog's in that area and you can't leave then in your room alone, but not here! We got to use the amenity's, we had to leave the dogs in our room, as long as the dogs don't bark and miss-behave, and you'er on site, this was a nice treat for us. On another note this Hotel is about a block if that to the road to drive on the beach, and they have press coffee, loved it!
An adults only wing
It was wonderful to stay in a wing without children above or below. It also gives you undercover parking, which is great when it is raining; The bed was very good, and the room cleaned. Also, the breakfast was more than just pastries and drinks.
We love it here. Since getting our rescue dog, we have been able to still stay at Coho. The dog rooms are on ground level and our dog gets treats and a new toy. They are having some renovations going on right now and they do let you know ahead of time. I'm sure it will be awesome when it's done. We look forward to the next birthday weekend!
