Overhyped hotel & staff with minimal service & lots of attitude!
The rooms were just ok- we felt like being in a slightly better budget hotel, except the rates would indicate otherwise! Rooms had minimal space to move around and the bathrooms were barely functional. The hotel advertises a complimentary breakfast buffet till 9am- but we found that even bread had "run out" a little past 8. By 8:45, the staff had already put away any remaining items and we were told that they "didn't have anymore" and it was "anyways nearing 9". The front desk manager was even more unhelpful. She rudely informed us that even restaurants run out and that's the best they could do. We finally managed to get coffee after some complaining!! That day, as if on cue, our room was not cleaned, beds not made, nor new towels stocked- and the front desk "graciously" agreed to "tell" housekeeping. Overall we ended up getting less for more money!! We would definitely not return or recommend this hotel! We might have been better off in the BestWestern Plus right across the street!!
Quiet and comfortable.
This is an older hotel that has had a major upgrade of the rooms to be very modern and up to date. The bed was very comfortable, the facility quiet and very conveniently located. There is no elevator to the second floor, but it is accessed by an outside balcony. They had plenty of area to park, which is ideal for truckers or people with trailers (ie. car haulers) with both an easy entry and exit. The free breakfast while limited on the variety, it had the best scrambled eggs and hot biscuits of the last 20 hotel visits. Our room had some minor neglect in that one dresser drawer was missing a handle, the toilet seat while safe and clean was showing age, and the door needed a new weather strip. Taking the whole facility into view, it reflects older architecture as it could use an exterior facelift. The price was a bonus which no other hotel could match, a real bargain for the dollar.
Older yes, still decent
Would stay here again because the room was clean and the dog area nice and close. The breakfast was fairly substantial, which is a good thing because the restaurant that was nextdoor is now gone. This is on one of the main thoroughfares of K.F., so noisy from the road traffic, but the rooms are insulated enough for it to just be dull once inside. The personnel were accommodating for our special needs.
Nice Overnight Stay
The Inn was clean and comfortable. We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to accommodate us for the night—the staff member on duty was friendly and happy to check us in. The included breakfast was adequate and satisfying for our needs.
Each time we head south to Las Vegas or Reno, we always come through Klamath Falls and stay at the Cimarron, clean rooms, breakfast and quiet. Free parking and friendly people assigning the rooms. I would recommend trying to get the furthest portion of the hotel, I believe that is the most quiet area. There are lots of places to eat nearby. They do supply a continental breakfast.
