Family wedding
Had my family stay here for our daughter’s wedding day, and they had an amazing time. Most of the cabins were guest at our wedding so many wanted to be close together. Lisa went above and beyond to make their stay awesome. We loved sitting around the fire pit and she brought out popcorn and chocolate the night I was able to join. A very welcoming and clean place to stay. Totally recommend the Cascade motel.

Old stuffy motel
Old stuffy motel. Was told they didn't have 2 queen room but tried to upgrade to a suite. Had to ask if there was anything else besides a suite. Then show up and nobody is at the motel. Don't know why room option isn't open when we're the only people there. Room was old and stuffy. Had a slip at the door that it was sanitized. But 2 light switches in the room had black smeared on it. Had to get my own Clorox wipes to scrub everything down. Mattress was old and sinking in the middle. And never had a motel only give you two pillows per bed. And those I think were as old as the mattress.

MiddleFork complex fire 2021
Best and most well kept motel you can ask for for the asking price. Came to Oakridge from Lewiston Idaho to build fire lines on the MiddleFork complex fire and these people showed me that Oregon still has good people in it. Stay here and be sure to thank the owner for his service

Furious
Furious. Made a reservation a week ahead for myself and my young grandson as we are traveling. The day before our reservation they left a message canceling our room! Because they have firefighters in town ( have been there for weeks) and they can rake them for more money! They should of NEVER taken the reservation!!. Obviously, now everything is booked!! So we get to either drive further late at night hoping to find a room somewhere or?? No clue or what! What a horrible business practice. Obviously the rooms were already full but in case the firefighters checked out they took reservations to cover themselves! Then cancelled the reservations leaving people stranded at the last minute unable to find a room, all so they can get more money. I do not care if its the last room left in the country, I will never give my business to them nor recommend them to anyone. Honestly I intend to make certain everyone I know is aware of the dishonest business practices and that they are willing to cancel last minute on a grandmother and child all to make a buck! I come from a family of firefighters and by all means give them all the support! But this was an already existing fire and obviously booked rooms. Deplorable practice! And literally afternoon before we were to be there. Shame on you.

Lovely people, great place to stay
We experienced some car trouble on the way to Crater Lake and needed to make an unexpected stop for the night. Dan at Cascade was so pleasant, inviting, and helpful during an incredibly stressful situation, and it really helped put us at ease. The room was very clean, the lawn and gazebo/grill area were cute and tidy, and there were appropriate COVID precautions in place. There was space to work at a desk in the room, the wifi worked well, the bed was comfortable, and there were amenities to store/heat food. There is a pizza restaurant next door and other options within walking distance. The town is really nice and settled back from the main freeway, but there are options to bike, drive, and hike around the area. I would highly recommend staying at Cascade, the hospitality is unparalleled and scenery is beautiful.
