Budget 8 Motel

The price was good. And the rooms were nice and clean.

The staff were very understanding and helpful. The sunset was really beautiful for there. A cross the road there is a small hill to walk and watch the sunset.

Clean, comfortable, just what we needed. Nice owner! Great shower. We came in very late and couldn't find a hotel that welcomed our dogs. Would definitely stay again!

Large well equipped room

Large well equipped room with all you need for a stopover, including a washing line in the bathroom, sadly bathroom taps were hard to turn and lighting was quite poor throughout the room, Quite expensive and there was no breakfast available.

Not the Ritz, but okay

This is definitely a dated, older motel that is not fancy. But if you're looking for a room for the night, this one would do. It was absurdly expensive the weekend we were there because there was a couple of major events in town. The room itself was pretty spacious with an okay bed, desk, microwave, and refrigerator. The wi-fi was free but very spotty and didn't work all the time. The shower had nice water pressure and the room was clean, although old and dated. If the price was MUCH more reasonable, we would consider staying there again if necessary.

What a dump!

Broken down cars in the parking lot locals live here by the month ( another guest told me one was dead in a room for days) and rooms REALLY need to be updated badly, Owner huge pot head towels? only hand towels provided bath size available if you go to the office and ask for 1 WTF stay away its the john day town crack house for $100.00 a night I had to pay $ 10.00 extra for my 8 month old baby and then another $20.00 for my 13 year old OMG.....
