It was clean and quiet & I enjoyed my stay. It appears that the property has been recently remodeled; my room was updated & pleasant looking/feeling. The staff was easy to work with also. The floor to ceiling tile was a pretty cool look.
Renovated rooms in this old fashioned hotel walking distance to Main Street, Baker City, a historic district. Clean, comfortable, and fresh. Very Quiet. Generous breakfast with a lot of choices (early hours). Reasonably priced. Con: high buzz off bathroom light.
My wife and I stayed here twice; once on our way down to the 5 National Parks in southern Utah and again on our way home to the Kitsap Peninsula in WA state. While the motel is clearly dated...kind of a throwback to mellower times...it's kept very clean, it's quiet, and our rooms were very comfortable. Staff was friendly, respectful and did everything they could to ensure we enjoyed our visits, including recommending an excellent local restaurant (Latitude 45). Breakfast was served in the office every morning and consisted of coffee, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, simple fried potatoes and lots of bacon, hot and cold cereal, fruit, juices and some really interesting and unique packaged waffles. My only complaint...no decaf (except in the room)! We would gladly stay here again.
Sweet little local inn. I stumbled on it after a long drive and I’m so glad— it was the perfect stopover. Super clean. Hot shower, newly remodeled room, awesome bed. The sheets were even soft, high quality. Breakfast was included, and the historic downtown district of Baker City is right there. Staff were friendly and helpful too. I’ll be back someday!
Clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated room. Good continental breakfast. Convenient location, and could walk to restaurants in the attractive downtown. This is my second time staying here. Met all our needs, and we would stay here again.
