First time guest pleased with what he found
We had not stayed here before but did since our lodging close to the theaters was not available until a day later. We were pleasantly surprised and the niceness of the facility, grounds, rooms, and breakfast. The room was particularly good as it had an additional chair than usually found. This motel is very easy to find, on Ashland St. (66), and its parking is within its European-like interior court. The next door restaurant (Elmer's) is convenient and the food and service is very good.

A Pleasant Stay
A friend of mine recommended Best Western Windsor Inn and I booked a one night stay as a stop over from my drive from Tillamook, OR to the Bay Area in California and I was pleased with my stay here. The front desk staff was friendly, efficient, and professional. She was helpful with explaining the property amenities. The room was spacious and the bed and furniture were comfortable. I found the property to be quiet and appreciated the well lit parking lot. I was also very impressed with the breakfast, scrambled eggs and bacon were available, as well as pancakes and oatmeal, plus cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, and fruit, along with coffee and hot beverages and several kinds of juice. I think overall the stay there was a good value.

Here’s What You’re Getting
Understanding that this is more of a 2.5 star class of lodging, I’m just sharing a few observations from my recent one night stay: 1. I’d describe the format as a motel in that all rooms open to the outside. 2. It’s a really old place, but in pretty good condition considering its age. Room and bedding very clean. 3. Really excellent front desk person who took the time to orient me to the amenities. 4. Rooms are fairly noisy. You can hear other guests talking or moving around in room above and in the sides. Some interesting traffic sounds audible also that startled us in middle of night. 4. 2 Free EV charging spots but they are very slow. We were at 20% battery and over 8 hours it got to about 50% charge. 5. There’s a nice grassy area for dogs with poop bags and disposal bin that’s very accessible right across from front office, but at night it’s very dark so easy to step on remnants that previous dog owners may have missed—bring a flashlight, my iPhone flashlight wasn’t bright enough to help much. It’d be nice if they had lighting there. 6. Pet friendly at a very reasonable cost of $20. Other places gouge you on this, but their rate was very fair. Overall for the class of lodging it was clean and perfectly satisfactory. I’d just say the price was out of whack and it should’ve been about $50 less than it was per night. At the rate we paid of $200 per night, I’d go to another newer 3 star class value hotel chain instead.

No parking at night
If you are coming back after an evening theater performance there is no parking available. They allowed a semi, trucks with trailers and stored trailers in the lot taking up multiple spots. We had no room service during our 3 night stay.
