Very Nice Employees
This was a very good hotel for a business traveler. The staff were so very kind, making sure that your stay was comfortable and genuinely cared about how your experience was going. My bed was comfortable, my room refreshed each day, the shower hot, the AC worked very well, and the towels sucked all the water out of my hair. The breakfast was very good! There were always the loaded eggs (scrambled with ham, cheese, and green onions), yogurt parfaits (with frozen fruit and granola), waffles, biscuits with gravy, juice, and the latte machine. I appreciate when hotels provide milk alternatives (they had soy milk for the lactose intolerant folks like myself, and that's so considerate). I loved the breakfast lady, she was so friendly and always had a wonderful smile for you at 6AM (you would want to hug her, because she was so sweet)! I want you all to know that my room was fine, I slept just fine, and I barely ever stay in a room other than to shower, work, and sleep in it. With that said, I had no concerns about the: stains on the carpet (you didn't bring bedroom slippers?), the amount of dust along the room (where the vacuum can't reach, but there were fires going on so my coughing was not due to this, there was a thick air issue in the area), the toilet that I had to flush multiple times to get it to finally gather water, the moving toilet seat (I forgot to tell them), the warped paint in the bathroom due to maybe the vent not working (I forgot to tell them, too), the unfortunate slow WIFI (that would cut in and out), and the refrigerator that was so cold that it froze my food. Overall, I had a great stay here! This is a hotel that I would come back to, due to: comfort and wonderful customer service. It's a small town with folks who are very sweet who work here.

On our way to Portland
Room was ready and in great shape. AC on and room was cool. Check in was a breeze, very friendly staff. It is an older motel, but well maintained, clean and comfortable.

Great location and quiet even though off freeway. Have a nice pool and fitness center and the morning breakfast was really good. Room was clean. We and other wedding attendees stayed and it was a good value for Memorial Day weekend.

Disappointingly Dirty
If this is one of the best rated motels in town I don't want to see the rest. Upon entering the room when you get the yuck feeling it's not good. The floor carpet was visibly stained and dirty. All the surfaces were sticky and dirty. Had to take wet wipes to all the surfaces. The air conditioner had dirt visibly coming out of the intake and outtake. Blowing dirt. The filter was plugged with dirt. The bath vent was rusty and made horrible noises. The only positive thing that I can say is that it was very quiet despite being in close proximity to the interstate.

Friendly staff and overall good experience
Hotel was dated but overall housekeeping did a good job and front desk attendant Kody was really nice and when I forgot my log in to my Best Western account she helped me find it. Breakfast was good but coffee a little watery.
