An excellent Eugene motel located next to the University of Oregon campus that offers guests year-round sports facilities, indoor pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, and weight and aerobic exercise room. Nice location near a small river with foot path and city park near university. Our room overlooked the river. It was clean with comfortable baths. Breakfast was good. The AC in our unit was extremely noisy. We couldn’t turn it off because the room heated up too fast even at night. There was no screen door so we couldn’t even leave open the sliding glass door to the balcony. The bathroom fan was extremely noisy as well. It was either not working or working at limited capacity. When looking for a motel we always look for relatively quiet locations. This probably is. You couldn’t hear any street noise probably because the inside noise drowned out everything else. Perhaps there’s a management problem here. Housekeepers should report noisy or non functioning items. It shouldn’t take a complaint from guests to fix things. And if this is the normal state of affairs then updating equipment should be a serious consideration!

This BW property is little more than a Motel 6 with fresher paint. It was conveniently located close to the U of O campus, but that was about the only plus for this property. The room and facilities were plain, dated and rather sub-par from what I've come to expect of BW properties. I will look for another place to lay my head if I find myself staying in Eugene again.

We love Best Western!
We love staying at Best Western hotels. We stayed in room 228, two bedroom suite. The rooms are big and the heating/cooling system works great! The beds are comfortable and the pillows are nice. The shower pressure is good too! The only weird thing was the location of the toilet; it's an awkward space and located by the bathroom door. We would definitely stay in this room again! Super nice! The housekeeping team is awesome! So accommodating and helpful, bringing us more coffee, towels and any items needed! They have a continental breakfast which we have yet to try. A bit bummed that they don't have a hot tub but they do have an indoor Pool, sauna and gym.

Excellent location and value, checked all the boxes
We came to tour the UO and the location was perfect. We appreciated the dog friendly hotel. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Very reasonably priced.
