The BEST of John Day
Large, well-appointed rooms with all the essential amenities, including a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The heating and air conditioning unit was impressively quiet, making for a very comfortable stay. The Wi-Fi was fast, reliable, and easy to connect to, with no issues streaming Netflix or Amazon Prime. The property was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and clearly cared for by the management. A pleasant surprise was the availability of EV charging stations on-site, especially considering the remote location. The hotel is also conveniently located near a grocery store, Subway, and other essentials. Among the lodging options in the area, this was the only property I found that offered a full range of amenities, including breakfast. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help whenever needed. Overall, an excellent stay and a property I would gladly recommend.

Great place to stay if visiting the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument
BW John Day Inn is convenient to John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. There is a good grocery store within walking distance. Beds and rooms are comfortable. The included breakfast selection was great. However, if you want unsweetened yogurt and cereals, you should bring your own. The front desk clerk was nice and friendly. The warm chocolate chip cookies and bowl of fruit, in the lobby, were very welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

Best Place to Stay in John Day
The Staff was personable and helpful, the room clean. There was a nice variety of food to choose from at the Breakfast Buffet. The only downside was Wi-Fi, it was slow but given the location of the hotel, and the size of the town, it was no surprise.

Great stay
Been staying there for a work project for several months . Great place to stay , full breakfast options , staff is friendly and professional and super helpful with and questions Room are very clean definitely stay there again when in John day . Roy
