For a pitstop, this is a good motel. It's got convenient ground-level rooms so if you're just staying one night and you're not looking forward to dragging all your valuable stuff up to an upper story. You can park right in front of your room. The typical hot breakfast is serviceable, it's exactly what you'd expect. Then you get on the road and not look back. This motel is on the main drag through town near the water, so don't expect quiet evenings. But this means you get easy to a half-way decent place to grab some grub and grog.

We had a very nice stay. Ann at the front desk was very friendly and helped us check in very fast. The breakfast was great and the hotel is located close to many nice restaurants. We found Dave's pizza on line and it was very good.

Great Location and Value!
Great stay on a mini road trip. They ended up giving us an upgrade that included a hide away bed, which was perfect! Very clean, great value, great breakfast etc. If I am in the area again, I will stay here. Thank you for the great stop!

Best Western Holiday Hotel - Best Option / It Will Do
We stayed here one night on our road trip from San Francisco to Seattle in June 2026. I wasn't keen on staying in a Best Western hotel, but this appeared to be the best hotel in Coos Bay. Based on my research there isn't much to choose from. It's what you would expect - more of motel, small rooms, dated, reasonably clean, and reasonably comfortable. It's on the main road and in a good location. We walked the boardwalk and through the town. We felt safe and enjoyed the stores / scenery. They have plenty of parking. The breakfast was mediocre, but what we expected. I don't think there is a better place to stay in Coos Bay. It served its purpose - a one-night stop.
