An Average BW
I have stayed at five BW's in the last few months, and this was about in the middle in terms of quality, which varies a lot from one BW to another. BW Dallas (Or.) is conveniently located at a central junction in this small town. A shopping center with a grocery store and pharmacy is right across the street, and you are central to any place you want to visit in Dallas. The cost of the central location is a little street noise, but we did not find it disruptive. We were in a 1 br King, which is advertised as having a sitting chair. The first room we were assigned did not have such a chair, so we were switched on request. The chair in the second room was incredibly frayed and need to be replaced. The room also had a musty smell. Noise from the pool was sometimes an issue, as it is inexplicably open until 11pm. There was a joyfully noisy family in there after 10pm, but the manager addressed this when we complained. They advertise a workout room, but it is small, accommodating only a recumbent bicycle, elliptical machine, and treadmill. The breakfast is cheerfully hosted and tasty. Some of the items are packaged/reheated.

Needs to be updated.
I usually stay at this motel when I come to Oregon to visit. And every time I swear I'm going to go someplace else. I'm not sure how old this motel is, probably 20+years or so, but I believe they're using the same bedding sheets and bath towels from when they first opened. Everything is so outdated, the carpet, the drapes, the furniture, etc. Then you have the 'free' breakfast. I believe they used powdered eggs. The eggs were the only protein in the dining room, everything else was carbs and sugar. This place is just disgusting.

Worst hotel experience ever !!!!
From the very start it was not inviting experience & went down hill. When we returned to our room after dinner the key pad did not work. Front desk clerk came to show us how to use it & realized battery was dead. She was not able to change batteries & told us to just wait there in hall & she would call owner ~ 5 minute wait. After 20 minutes or so ask her when we would be able to get in room & she said owner was 1 hr away. I fussed big time & she gave us another room ~ still no access to our stuff. Told her we really need medication. Finally someone arrived & changed battery & we were told to get out of the room we were moved into back to other room because that room was not in price range of our original room. No apology for inconvenience. Hubby was already asleep in new room. NO apology what so ever & we were fussed at big time for making them come to get us in room. Loud Words were exchanged. Hotel & their website say no smoking & no pets. Friends room clearly had smoke smell. While waiting for key pad to be fixed a couple came into room next to us with TWO HUGE DOGS. Went to breakfast in am & received a phone call telling us to come get our stuff & get out of room & they were calling police because we were rude & yelled at employees. This is short version. Bottom line ~ NO CUSTOMER SERVICE here….find another place to stay…….

Horrible experience
This stay was a disaster from start to finish. My booking/reservation was a mess and it never got better. They actually moved all my things out of my room and lost several of my belongings in the process, without anything more than a half-hearted "sorry."
