Don't be fooled by the name. This is no ordinary Best Western. The staff are wonderful. The rooms are large with true work areas, and they provide robes. The free nightly cookies in many flavors, along with the coffee, tea, and hot cocoa were a plus. Restaurant 1847 was a surprisingly good find with imaginative food that is vegetarian friendly. The pool and hot tub were clean. The best by far was the Japanese garden behind the hotel. Definitely well worth a stop.

Just a beautiful atmosphere. Great food. Beautiful Japanese garden. Excellent friendly staff and of course the cookies @ 4 pm.

Lovely hotel, restaurant not open Monday and Tuesday
Lovely hotel, big clean rooms with great amenities. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. On site restaurant is NOT open Monday and Tuesday.

This is a beautiful hotel. The grounds with the trails and pond were just gorgeous. The pool was adequate - nothing great - and way too cold. But the hotel and the rooms were very nice.

Friendly, helpful staff. Spacious, quiet room. On the downside, I had to pay for breakfast and the restaurant was not opened the two evenings of my stay. I have noticed that a number of different motels have clocks that did not function in one way or another. This BW was no exception. I bring my own now.
