Stayed the night, nice easy walk to the downtown area. Beautiful view of the water, slept with the door open to hear the ocean and enjoy the cool air. Comes with a nice sack breakfast to start the day.

The Bandon Inn was…okay. Some nice things and a couple of problems. I booked far in advance and called ahead to explain that I have a walking disability and could I get a room that was easier to get to – west building, 3rd floor preferably (which surprisingly had the least amount of stairs to navigate). When we arrived, there was no note or indication of my call, so we were put on the first floor at the end of a dark, dingy outside corridor requiring the most walking of anywhere on the property as far as I could tell. The view from this room is of tall bushes, the backside of a dilapidated building, neon business signs at night, and in the distance a bit of water in the bay. The room itself was lovely. It appeared recently refreshed, and was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and we initially slept great, UNTIL our TV started turning itself on every couple of hours. We hadn’t even watched it and the remote was across the room, but as soon as we would fall asleep, it would spring to life, volume blaring. I mentioned it to the front desk on our first morning, and they said they would check it out, but the second night was even worse. Finally around 3:00am, we unplugged it entirely which we should have done sooner. I mentioned this problem at checkout and the agent was very apologetic, but no refund or compensation was offered. To be fair, I didn’t ask. Also, a housekeeper was in the lobby and said “oh yeah, that happens all the time in that room”. The breakfast is as sad as others have described. I know they don’t have a kitchen or dining space, so not sure what the answer might be to this problem. Unfortunately, there aren’t many alternatives in town, so the yogurt and slice of bread is better than nothing. One more kind of funny thing was that we found an “infectious disease linen disposal” bag in our room. Initially, we worried that the previous guest had something we should worry about, or some other alarming situation, but were told that they just use those bags for the linens because they are large. I think they should get different bags, or explain this to people at check-in or something. While the staff were very friendly and welcoming to us, we did have to listen to a lot of bickering and gossiping amongst them, which I think they should refrain from when guests can hear them in the lobby or corridors. So, for the price ($270/night), I might go elsewhere, although the Inn is located near the “downtown” area, and probably the upper floor rooms have a nicer view. Unless you’re stay on the coastal side of town, this is probably still one of the nicer places in Bandon.

Inn in transition?
Great location, wonderful view, comfortable room. Front desk unfriendly. Another property now under their management. They seem to be short staffed, cleaning staff are overwhelmed, slow. Breakfast delivery of bag breakfasts chaotic when inn is fully booked. That said, clean rooms, nice stay.

Rooms are clean and updated, views of the bay and village is nice. We have stayed here every year for a long time. Love Bandon for its out of the way feel. The breakfast worked during the Covid years but they need to move on to something better. Cheap yogurt, sugared pastries, terrible fruit. We totally skip it. Not worth the bother.

Lodging Option for Bandon Dunes
Traveled to Oregon for Bandon Dunes golf and only had lodging onsite for 2 nights- they recommended Bandon Inn to us. Quaint comfortable inn, nice view of the water. Clean and spacious, quiet. Close proximity to Old Town and only 10 minutes to Bandon Dunes for golf. Highly recommend for access to Bandon Dunes!
