Beautiful suite in a very convenient location
This hotel is just off I-5 so it's the perfect location if you're just spending the night and not spending time in Ashland. But I have mixed feelings about the hotel --- the suite was beautiful, roomy and had a nice view of a park, and the bed and linens were above average. However, the walls were thin so I could hear every word said in the room next to mine. Also, the free continental breakfast was just average, their restaurant didn't open for breakfast until 8 am and it has a very limited menu. I did have dinner in the restaurant (Luna), you order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. My food was very good but they placed my bread directly on top of my Cobb salad and there was no plate to place the bread on when I moved it in order to eat my salad.
We drove up from Northern Ca and needed a half way place to stay. This hotel is close to the freeway. Huge place, great beds, and free breakfast. You have to get used to the 70s decor which is done on purpose. Cole was excellent checking us in. He gave us directions to downtown and where to park. I would have given an excellent because they did not had coffee makers in the rooms. We will return for sure!!!
This is my fifth or sixth time at this hotel. We come because it is dog friendly. We return because the service is always great. Checked in this afternoon a bit early, and was not given the area requested when I booked. Jeremy at the front desk vwas very helpful, and even though we didn't get exactly what we wanted, he did his very best. Always stayed in King premium room and this time we are not in a premium but I have to say the room is still very nice. Cozy and comfy just smaller. For our needs it is just fine. Travel with a pet means some sacrifice but thanks to this hotel we never feel very are settling for bare bones.
This is my second year staying at this hotel while celebrating my birthday. The Family suite's very comfy, lots of parking, staff great and there is breakfast in the morning. Added benefit,we like how close it is to local wineries and brewery.
Great for families. Waffle maker!
Stopped through on a road trip and was happy to have chosen this spot. Having a door to close at night on your road-fatigued children is kinda necessary for collective sanity, so we loved our suite. Buffet breakfast was top notch (waffle maker!) and the grounds were beautiful. It’s on the outskirts of town so you’re not in the thick of things but you make up for it with the nice campus and views of the mountains. We’d stay here again.
