Disappointing stay in King suite room. The furniture was all beat up, chipping paint. One plug for tech devices near bed, nothing near desk. Kitchen area had appliances but no dishware to use that convenience. No cups provided for coffee maker. Hidden away was a note that no housekeeping services would be provided until the third day of a stay. If you wanted housekeeping, you must call the front desk a day ahead. We did do that and it was never provided. This is a VERY BAREBONES accommodation for the price. Notified front desk but they brushed off our concerns. Be aware that there are long term residents living there.

The hotel required payment of an additional $10/night "Facility Fee", which was simply not disclosed when I booked. The manager said it was disclosed on the hotel's website, but I booked through an agent who made no mention of it. I didn't look at the hotel's own website, and what is written there was not part of the contract anyway. OK, it's not much money, but this is a totally unacceptable attitude.

Cute retro vibe- think Palm Springs mid century modern. Lobby is nice and there is a bar/cafe/snack bar. The room is large and also mid century. Bathroom area also large. Room was very clean. We overlooked the pool, which was well used late September. The location is ten minutes from downtown Ashland. We would stay again.

Loved our stay at Ashland Hills Hotel & Suites. The rooms are spacious and clean and the decor is mid-century - colorful and fun. The hotel has character and quaintness, the staff was friendly and accommodating, it is now our favorite place to stay.

The hotel is in a quiet area of Ashland. Somewhat spread out with three levels of rooms. The hotel itself is not walking distance near anything downtown. Downtown has great coffee and restaurants. The room were dated but clean. It has a shower/tub combo similar to motel rooms. Beds were comfortable at least. Our room alarm was set off by the shower steam every time. Unacceptable. Hotel front desk on the second occasion gave us a free breakfast coupon. Admirable. Pool though not large was 5 feet at one end which is great. Hot tub also there. Food at the restaurant was actually very good. The service was horrendous. I had to point out my food to the server to get on the second time. The conference facility was actually very good and was catered very well. NOTE: Ashland doesn’t allow UBER drivers to base in town. Alll UBER drivers come from Medford a 12-15 minute drive away. Plan accordingly
