This was a lovely hotel. It is conveniently located right near the beach and close to downtown. It was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We had a fireplace in our room which made it even cozier. We were on the 3rd floor and there was not an elevator but the front staff offered to bring up our luggage. The view from our room was stunning! I am an artist and I was able to paint several lovely images right from my room. I highly recommend The Waves. Cheryl L. Tennessee

Remarkable hotel in the best location!
Absolutely wonderful hotel with an incredible location! I highly recommend a room with a balcony looking at the beach so you can enjoy your coffee or wine while watching the waves and the birds. Truly remarkable experience. The room is adorable and has every amenity that you need and some that you didn’t even think of. I highly recommend the waves and would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I loved our stay at The Waves. Everything is so well-organized from the minute we checked in to check out by phone on our final day. We stayed in a king Flagship Studio, #410, on the second (stairs required) floor. It was very quiet, with a private balcony (uncovered) and a lovely view. Parking was just outside the unit. I’ve attached a property map to assist in planning. The mattress was comfortable, two nice reading chairs inside, two deck chairs outside, a fridge, microwave and stove if you want to cook meals yourself. Our room was immaculate, and the only thing we felt needed was a full-length mirror. We loved this area of Cannon Beach with its close proximity to numerous restaurants, stores, a market, and even the post office. The famous Haystack Rock is about a 25 minute walk south on Hemlock, the main street, but could be shorter or slightly longer depending on your fitness. Ecola Creek State Park is a short drive north and well worth your time, state park fee required. We enjoyed watching the world from our balcony which included colorful kites, a sunset wedding and a parade of elk. Lovely stay!

High praise on lodging for excellent Cannon beach experience
Excellent place to stay at Cannon Beach with close proximity to the beach, restaurants, shopping & not far drives for beautiful viewing areas & hikes. The room we were in was nicely decorated and was cleaned daily. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was there was limited parking.
