The rooms are so unique and make you feel like you are in your own little apartment. Location is great right on the waterfront, lots of shops and restaurants. Also available at the same location is the great Marine Discovery Tours which is a must selection during your stay. Last but surely not least is the great customer service provided by the staff, they really truly care for the customers needs.
Spacious room featuring nautical details--model wooden sailing ship, an oak steering wheel, globe, framed nautical maps (and one with sailors' knots), gas heater/fireplace, bar fridge, microwave. Big deck fronting harbour. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Ear plugs and white noise machine to help with noisy sea lions. Hoping they will provide ceramic and glass mugs/cups rather than plastic/paper--to be consistent with their environmental goals. A pleasant stay.
We have to check out in a few hours and we don't want to! Extremely iconic bay front view, the most comfy bed, walkable to food and drinks all around, and pretty much the most amazing 4th of July fireworks spot in all of Oregon. Thanks Fran- we will be back!
We LOVED our room (in July). We had fun in Newport and in the evening watched the lighted boats coming in or going out to the ocean. The view was really fun. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and the staff was friendly. We will be back and have told many of our friends how much we enjoyed it.
If you can tune out the distant chorus of happy seals nearby, than this is the most magical place in coastal Oregon. In-room Jacuzzi, clean, awesome location and fun-themed rooms. Nothing was sweeter than coming in from the rain to warm up in the tub, have a glass of wine and watch the seals!
