Anchor Inn Resort - Travel Oregon

A charming inn located in the Taft district of Lincoln City on the central Oregon Coast, Anchor Inn Resort is located minutes away from popular attractions, shopping, dining and the beach. The inn also has a game room, sandbox play zone, courtyard with firepit and gardens. The inn’s restaurant, the Wheelhouse, offers delicious handmade bistro pizza and wine and beer on tap.

Something different but worth a visit!

Would have liked to have given this property a 5-star rating except for the one major issue of tepid shower temperature. I would recommend this family and pet friendly resort with no hesitation, as the amenities, extras and thoughtful freebies (bottled water and a smores kit), along with a quirky outdoor space, makes this a unique and interesting place to stay. Good location and close to beach trails. Clean, well-stocked kitchenette and supply room where you can get additional coffee, tea, and even a toothbrush if needed! And lots of dvds and books (and games) to borrow. Friendly staff and reasonable rate for what you get. There were even fluffy bathrobes and lovely toiletries on hand. Parking was a bit tight for our truck camper but ok since it wasn't that full that day. Lots of things for kids and an nice area for dog walking. The cabins are snug but have all you need and are decorated with lots of nautical items and some funky quirky things too, like a 'shark' nightlight. A one-of-a-kind place to stay!

Just an awesome time and stay in a hotel that is reasonable priced nice staff and clean amenities like free laundry use and with free soap (are u kidding me?) a pop and candy and ice cream stash that is on the honor system (with a cameras view lol) game room ample parking close to otis cafe yumm Just go here you will enjoy your stay Period!!!

Wonderful Place to Stay

I took my mother for a 3 day vacation in Lincoln City and we chose to stay at The Anchor Inn. Our expectations were exceeded in every regard. The phone app for accessing your room is very convenient and pretty cool. The courtyard is so nice and well maintained. The smores kits and fire pits are such a fun touch. The pizza at The Wheelhouse was so so good. Great proximity to the beach and area businesses. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in the area.

Exceeded expectations

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this charming boutique hotel. We were warned by the owner that the hotel was older but remodeled. We found it to be extremely clean with high quality towels, bedding and mattress. We were happy to learn there was a separate sitting area with a couch bed too. The grounds are kitchy and fun. The bar had great drinks and yummy pizza. The south end location is close enough to walk to coffee, lunch or dinner. We would definitely stay here again.

Would definitely go back

If you are looking for luxury, this might not be your place. But if you’re looking for simple, clean with friendly staff then book a room here! Yes the walk to the beach is a little further than some people might like, but it never says ocean front property. The walk was not bad at all. If my French bulldog can do it so can you. Really wonderful place. We will be back.
