We love visiting this place! The location to Taft district is nice and fairly close to some nice restaurants. The atmosphere is a fun a quirky sea vibe with great local art work in each of the rooms. We also love the fact you can grab a drink and go out to the courtyard and roast some marshmallows or get yourself a super yummy pizza! The value of the clean and tidy place is fair and worth it. If you have kids they also have a sandbox and a game room for them. It's expected that the rooms closer to highway 101 they are a bit louder but not crazy bad. Service is great and super friendly not to mention they allow dogs!

Perfect for friends, family, or couples getaway!
staying at the anchor Inn is relaxing and cozy! The beds are comfortable, the rooms are adorable, and the shared spaces are well curated. you can definitely find at least one childhood favorite movie in their DVD collection, and the mini golf course is so fun. even the smoking shack was comfortable and accessible. I would definitely stay here again!

Seeking Vitamin Sea!
We had a beautiful and relaxing time! The staff was very friendly and helpful and they were always smiling! We took in some time on the beach, played your UK version of miniature golf and ate from your amazing pub. Best pizza ever! Thank you so much. We will be back 🌊
