This place is a DIVE
Restaurant is closed and has been for an extended period although the staff often write that it is closed for a private function. People around the area say the restaurant hasn't been open consistently for years. Pool is the same. Seems it can not be drained due to the fact it was installed in the sand and the water in it is the only thing that keeps the sides from caving in. Drain the water and the pool collapses!!! Garbage from previous guest left in refrigerator. When I contacted them and asked for an adjustment, the manager, Tamara, lamented that I did not call sooner and she would not make an adjustment. Also threatened to disparge me on her Tik tok page!!! Said that the contract guests sign for the room includes the clause that by signing, guest is agreeing to her using your statements and comments on her page!! Not a place I will be revisiting!!!

Helpful Management
When I made a mistake in my reservation, the management was quick to respond, helpful, and pleasant to work with. While I didn't end up staying this time, I've enjoyed the "bay view" on pre-COVID stays. (Note on "Overall Rating," I did not stay here but a rating is required for review)

You LIED four different times in your response to my review
You lied four different times in your response to me: You wrote, "I was the employee who asked you to please keep the noise down as you stumbled in the lobby innebriated [sic] and demanded a working room key at 3 in the morning." Here are your four lies: I. It was *not* 3 in the morning, it was about 10 o'clock at night, which is not an unusual time of day to be returning to your hotel for your second night after being gone all day. 2. Second, I was *not* inebriated; in fact I had not been drinking at all. 3. You did *not* ask me to keep the noise down, because I was being quiet and respectful and not making any noise at all. 4. The beginning of your response says you are replying as "The Owner," but you are *not* the owner. In fact, when I asked you for the name and phone number of the owner so I could call them, you refused and told me that they wanted you to "screen people from contacting them." It appears that you are the one who is doing the "screening" -- probably because you know how much trouble you will get in if they find out you have been sleeping on the job during normal working hours and your irresponsible and unhelpful behavior gets reported to them. You even acknowledge that you are not "The Owner" at the end of your Reply when you sign off as "FRONT DESK." I sincerely hope the owners do eventually learn about how you are treating their guests so you can get some much-treated training on hospitality and how to treat guests in a polite and helpful manner.

HORRIBLY DISHONEST
BEWARE!!! We booked a reservation here and I wanted a conf # and they said they would email it to me! They never did. Then because of an emergency I had to cancel and I asked once again for a conf # and once again they said they would email it to me! Once again they DID NOT!! I cancelled well within the cx deadline (I have proof of that) and I find a $200.00 "no show" charge on my credit card bill! HUH???? So I called them and sent my proof and they still would not refund my money!! This is a fraudulent inept company that could care less about the truth! Lesson here is that since they are so dishonest make sure you get a confirmation # in writing!!! BTW the rooms looked like a Motel 6 and the restaurant was not open and no breakfast!! Beware of Tamara....very rude and unprofessional "manager"....go elsewhere and save yourself stress and money!!!

A Mistake
Very run down. No restaurant open, so no free breakfast. Pool green and dirty. Luxury rooms, don’t think so. Torn screens, no bed skirts on beds, no blankets, no cable tv, hot water ran out after a minute in shower. Door to additional room had broken lock. Only thing was a comfy bed but small pillows. More like a motel six rather than a “resort”. And the thing is, none of this was told to me when I arrived. When it was booked, things were good. I heard new owners, but I’d say keep on traveling.
