Wonderful motel on agate beach

What a lovely little gem! Second time we’ve stayed there and we’ll be back. Everything you need with easy access to the beach. Clean and thoughtfully designed. Great little kitchenette! Quiet except for the ocean waves.

Charming motel with incredible views!

This charming motel is right on the ocean and has incredible views from every room. Our room had a full-size living room and bedroom. It was very clean, and the small kitchen had everything we needed. One evening, we had a glass of wine by the fire pit and watched the sun set. The owner (?) was friendly and gave us great recommendations on restaurants and sights. We will definitely return!

The webcam says it all

This motel is easily worth the 5 stars. Beautiful location, very friendly staff and the view is incredible. My wife and I sat in the chairs near the fire pit during a light rain and loved it. The beach access is a bit convoluted, the motels stairs are not operational and the closest public access stairs have beautiful views but the last few feet are a bit rocky. Try the public access to the south (by the Bloch memorial) and you'll be much happier. The rooms are very clean and all have a view of the ocean.

Nice Motel With Ocean View and Walkable to Beach and Yaquina Head

The Agate Beach Motel has a great view of the ocean and is walkable to the beach and Yaquina Head Lighthouse Natural Area. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and has a kitchen. It is a gem. This is our second time staying. We look forward to staying again.

The best in Newport!

Always the best! Great location and quiet! Have stayed there for 30 years! The two bedroom is perfect for friends traveling together or for a family. Pet friendly! Kitchen is well equipped with full size refrigerator and stove… Enjoy!
