Pleasant but not five stars
We booked this inn for a one-night stay in the wine country several months in advance of an event. For the price we paid – nearly $600 for one night – we expected luxury, and although the inn was pleasant, it wasn’t exactly luxurious. Some small touches could go a long way toward earning it five stars. For starters, there should be more than one bath towel per person in a room for two people. And there should be two robes; there was only one, and only one pair of flimsy foam slippers that we chose not to use. Two pairs of a higher-quality slipper would be nice. There was a light blanket in the closet, and it had a very strong, unpleasant odor, possibly of fabric softener. Small things suggested someone was in a hurry when the room was prepared for our arrival: the safe had been left locked by a previous guest, the hair dryer had been left out of its bag by a previous guest, and there were only flavored teas in the room, nothing for someone who enjoys plain black tea. We also felt that the breakfast box could use some upgrading. It consisted of two over-cooked (dark green yolks) hard boiled eggs, two little packets of pepper but no salt, a couple of tough croissants (without butter) and a Danish, a very small portion of yogurt (and no bowls either in the box or the bedroom), orange juice, and a fruit bowl. On the plus side, the fruit bowl was fresh and had a good assortment of berries and melon (plus two small pieces of tasty orange). Other pluses of our stay were a comfortable bed, and a pleasant patio outside the entrance, although with a view to large high-power lines. At a lower price point, this hotel would win us back, but should we return to this area for a visit, we’d probably try different accommodations.

Boutique hotel in the heart of Willamette Valley wine country.
The Setting Inn was included in a wine package purchased at a charity auction. Beautiful boutique hotel. We celebrated our anniversary and were lucky to stay in Rm 4 with a big balcony and full valley view. Fabio welcomed us with flowers and chocolates too. Breakfast served in a wooden box by 8:30 outside your door and includes croissants, 🥐 yogurt and fruit. Coffee and tea maker in the room. Great staff. Loved our stay.

I asked her couple questions and "I dont know",,, was so weird we spent 4 nights here and as this place has HUGE potential , it is adorable and beautiful property and home it is VERY lacking in customer service.. ,, Fabio (was the only wonderful person in this place).. thankyou Fabio... for your help... we were out all day and room wasn't cleaned. , no hellos, no good mornings , no welcome, no good byes, not thanks for coming no NOTHING...
