Escape to The Ocean Lodge and take a nostalgic trip into yesteryear when life was less complicated. This hotel reminds guest of a 1940’s vintage beach resort with large wrap-around verandas and unobstructed views of the beach perfect for sunset gazing. The lobby welcomes guests with the warmth of massive Douglas fir beams and beautiful reclaimed and repurposed hardwood floors, all of which are anchored by a massive two-story river-rock wood-burning fireplace. Upstairs, a library with its own fireplace is filled with modern and classic literature for our guests to enjoy, and there are always fresh hot beverages and home-baked cookies awaiting our guests. This is beach living at its best.

Stunning location/view + amazing staff

All the reviews you read about the genuine hospitality from the staff are true! Not only does this hotel have a lovely setting but a staff that truly care about you and your stay. Upon our early check in we were told maintenance was in our room to repair our fireplace- which was no biggie for us. The manager arrived shortly after with a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. That evening at 9:30 we couldn't get the TV to turn on. Called front desk and same maintenance guy appeared promptly and found that it had been disconnected from the service. Evening wine tasting was a bonus with such a pleasant lady doing the pouring. Later that evening a staff member was at our door with a glass of port and chocolates. The hospitality continued with included breakfast that had just the right balance of choices. Everyone we encountered seemed to really like their jobs and you could tell they were treated well from the top down. Yes, it's a little pricey but wow is it worth it!

Ocean Lodge Cannon Beach

This is the nicest and best place on the Oregon Coast. They do many extra things that most Hotels do no do. Very pet friendly, water and food bowls in room for dogs. They put dogs names on a blackboard at entrance. Great breakfast included, free wine at Happy Hour, nightcap with wine, cider and chocolate cherries. Snacks available 24/7. Nice robes and slippers. Right on the beach, great views. Great

Weekend Trip with my Daughter

I wished the weather would have cooperated better but still enjoyed the beautiful Coast. The Ocean Lodge is a wonderful stay where the service is excellent, and the rooms are very comfortable. Never had a bad stay,

Beautiful, Relaxing and Welcoming

Beautiful oceanfront property. Very welcoming with really nice additional touches. Clean with comfortable beds and great showers. Everyone was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make sure your stay was a great experience. They really care about their guests and their comfort.

Excellent location and services

This place is in an excellent location. Close enough to the Haystack and needle rock formations. The service’s provided were great and the staff very kind and serviceable. Recommend it to all. Cannot go wrong.
