This hotel reminds guest of a 1940’s vintage beach resort with large wrap-around verandas and unobstructed views of the beach perfect for sunset gazing. The lobby welcomes guests with the warmth of massive Douglas fir beams and beautiful reclaimed and repurposed hardwood floors, all of which are anchored by a massive two-story river-rock wood-burning fireplace. Upstairs, a library with its own fireplace is filled with modern and classic literature for our guests to enjoy, and there are always fresh hot beverages and home-baked cookies awaiting our guests. This is beach living at its best.

We had a fantastic stay at The Ocean Lodge in Cannon Beach! From the moment we arrived, every member of the staff was amazing—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely focused on making our stay special. The atmosphere was relaxing and the views were absolutely beautiful. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved it!
We had an amazing time. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. The amenities were impressive. One day we walked downtown on the beach and called the hotel to pick us up in one of their cool oldsmobiles for FREE! On top of that they offer continental breakfast, wine and hors devours in the afternoon, a night cap with super yummy truffles, great snacks and they will set up a fire for you on the beach! All you have to do is purchase the wood bundle. After paying a similar price at a chain hotel this winter and not even getting offered free internet I was amazed. I will be back and highly recommend.

Great location. Excellent Staff. Chill vibe. Good value. We stayed here and at the Stephanie many times over the last 20 years and we now prefer the Ocean Lodge since the Stephanie did their big reno during the pandemic which changed the feel of the hotel from warm and luxurious to cold and pretentious. The Ocean Lodge is warm and inviting, the staff is great, and it provides the feel you should have on the Oregon Coast. Tip - spring for an upper floor corner room and you won't regret it.

Wonderful experience in Cannon Beach OR.
Outstanding location just south of Cannon Beach. Pet friendly rooms, ocean views, continental breakfast included... Couldn't have had a better experience!
