Great location and physically nice hotel and rooms. But lack of working wifi on the 6th floor, and noise from the above restaurant set-up in the morning hours wasn't acceptable to me for the price. We were in town for a wedding that coincided with our first wedding anniversary so we wanted to stay somewhere nice. Unfortunately the wedding coincided with a multi-day Nike national track event at the nearby university, so we ended up paying over four hundred a night for our stay. For that price I expect there to be no lapse in important amenities - like internet, noise, and access to food. No included continental breakfast and empty coffee pots in the lobby by 8 am seems crazy to me for the price we paid. We did enjoy the room, bed, and location, other than the above mentioned issues. Very professional staff.

Great place to stay in Eugene
The Gordon Hotel is an exceptional hotel with an amazing staff. Everyone is helpful and friendly. They treat you like your a member of some club. In this day and age where service has fallen off at many establishments, they have hired a great crew to take care of your needs and make you feel welcome.

Another wonderful stay at The Gordon
I stay here for work a few times a year. Valet staff are friendly and quick; the front desk staff are kind and helpful. Excellent service, peaceful & comfortable rooms, and you can't beat the location.
