Didn’t want to leave
Just returned from a lovely stay at the Stephanie Inn. It’s one of those places that you simply do not want to leave because of its incredible hospitality and awesome staff. Our room was spacious and well furnished - love the corner table, fireplace and cool view of the Haystack. Kudos to the Stephanie team (Carrie, Elizabeth and Angeleah) for making my spouse’s birthday extra special. Thank you to manager Wendy for the finding us milk for coffee (she ran upstairs for goodness sake) and Kyle who was always awesome at breakfast. And goodness, how about those sweet bunnies that hop outside the premises. Thank you for a great visit. Will be back soon.

What a fabulous stay
From the time we walked through the doors to the minute we left we were treated royally. The staff was so kind and helpful, we never saw a staff member with a frown on their face. Each and every member of the staff seemed happy to be there and took care of any need that we had. The dinner in the dining room was perfect in every aspect. We could not have asked for a nicer couple of days at a hotel.

Highlight after Highlight after Highlight
I’m not sure why I wasn’t expecting this place to be as amazing as it was. We’ve stayed at some pretty incredible places and The Stephanie Inn proved to be a top contender. We were greeted with warmness from the moment we stepped inside. We arrived early and our room wasn’t quite ready so we sipped complementary blueberry bellinis in the living room while we waited. There are cookies, scones, muffins, coffee, and tea in the lobby 24/7. They also had citrus water but I think this went away around 9pm and came back in the morning. After finishing our drinks we walked outside to check out the grounds and we were greeted by the friendly bunnies who live nearby and are very well fed. We were alerted by text our room was ready; the bellhop Ross helped us unload the car and wheeled our belongings to our room, the Janice Kay Sweet. He gave us a tour of the room and showed us how everything worked. The room was stocked with complementary snacks. We went downstairs for the Wine and Beer hour and quickly discovered the food was going to be a highlight of this trip. So many delicious options with local beverages to pair them with. We enjoyed the sunset each night this way. We were surprised with treats at the turn down service and again with the evening night cap. We woke early the next morning to get breakfast and were blown away once more with the quality of food served. I’ve never seen a complementary breakfast look so amazing. They were very accommodating to every request, including gluten free options. Everything was delicious. We had a couples massage shortly after breakfast. They were wonderful and we felt so relaxed and comfortable. Afterwards we were given, you guessed it, more snacks! We spent most of our three nights on site despite it being such beautiful weather for January. We just couldn’t justify leaving for long. The only reason we did leave was for lunch each day. We went to Public Coast Brewing Company for lunch every day because we liked it so much; they also had lots of gluten free options. One day we walked into town on the sidewalk and called the Inn to be picked up in the Rivian. Another day we got a ride to the restaurant and got our food to go, ate lunch on the beach (highly recommend eating gluten free onions rings on the beach), and then we walked back to the Inn along the beach. We enjoyed the incredible food, the friendly service, the warm atmosphere, and the huge tub and steam shower in our room. Really we only had one complaint, but after reading some others reviews most people loved them so it was likely just a preference of ours. The bed was much too soft. We prefer a firm mattress so we didn’t sleep as well as we would have liked. We were so relaxed and enjoyed ourselves very much so it was still worth it but it was the only thing we didn’t like about the whole stay. We will be coming back someday!
