What a wonderful and friendly place. The room was absolutely spotless and so inviting and comfortable. The location is excellent with so many eating opportunities close by. Definitely will return if I head that direction again. I had my dog with me and the accommodations were perfect for her.
This is our second stay at the SCP brand and it does not disappoint! The lobby and Wayfarer Lounge were great places for us to spend time, and our guestroom was equally as nice. What I appreciate about this brand is how they reflect the community they are in and each design touch feels intentional. We stayed 2 nights and the only thing we missed out on was the rooftop bar- a great reason to go back this summer.
I was travelling through Oregon on business, and stayed at the SCP Redmond Hotel, and it was a very enjoyable stay. Upon arriving, the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful to me and my travelling partner. Our rooms were clean, and definitely had a very open, inviting vibe. We had drinks at the bar downstairs which was also great. If I had any "negatives", I would say it would be the parking situation (you have to park a block over by the Wells Fargo Bank), and the complimentary coffee is fairly weak from what I'm used to. Make no mistake, these are not deal breakers for me. The walk from the parking area is fairly short, and you can always order a coffee downstairs (I decided on a nice Americano w/ vanilla), and they are more than happy to get that for you. I will most certainly be coming back to the SCP Redmond Hotel when I return to central Oregon in May. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
The area around Bend Oregon is a great place to visit for many reasons. When travelling through we used to stay in Bend. Then we found the SCP Redmond Hotel. Now we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. It has everything we like in a hotel: fairly small, tastefully presented, nice spacious rooms with lots of natural light, a funky comfortable little bar and a nice workout facility. There is a very nice rooftop deck and restaurant which we have yet to visit for seasonal reasons. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and we really appreciate the hotel’s SCP mantra which includes environmental care and awareness. The hotel is great value and nicer than anything we found in Bend but much less expensive. Redmond is about 10 miles from Bend and is a cute up and coming community with a nice feel. Works for us.
Absolutely Love the gathering place atmosphere at SCP. This historic hotel in downtown Redmond has been renovated beautifully. During my stay, I was not able to take advantage of the rooftop bar because of the weather in February but I’m hoping to stay again during warmer weather. The rooms are furnished beautifully and the staff are all so friendly and accommodating. Take time to relax in the main lobby, enjoy a complementary drink at the Wayfarer lounge/bar. The house sangria was the best, and in the morning enjoy a nice latte and a pastry from Sisters Bakery. I highly recommended and am sure you will enjoy your stay.
