    Exquisite hotel!

Saltline is a fabulous hotel to stay at! Located right downtown, and only two blocks from the beach. The staff is friendly and helpful at any time during your stay. The beds are luxurious and so comfortable. The salt water pool and hot tub are a welcomed bonus. We will definitely be staying again!

To sure I would stay here again.

The staff was great. Friendly and helpful. The facilities another story. First the walls are paper thin. We could even hear a text alert on the phone in the next room! There is a “wind” blowing under the door to the hall that constantly whistled. We had to put a towel in front of the door to stop the annoying sound. My morning shower was tepid, my husband’s was cold. And little water pressure. The weirdest thing was not being able to use the balcony off our room. The explanation given was “that is what management says”. We did get some money off the rate because we could not use the balcony, but it makes me wonder why? Not structurally sound? Weird. I’m not so sure I would stay here again.

    Seaside's Newest Hotel

The Saltline Hotel, Seaside, Oregon My husband and I stayed three nights at the Saltline Hotel, the newest hotel in Seaside. We were in town for the return of the ACBL Regional Bridge Tournament, our first regional in two years because of the pandemic. I’d like to give a shout-out to Sandra, on the Saltline’s reservations system. I had a problem with the booking and she was wonderful at solving that. Upon entering the lobby, one immediately notices the photography wall full of creative and colorful framed works. Centrally situated are a table and pair of reading chairs near the lovely fireplace. Our room was west-facing on the fourth floor and had its own small balcony. On the phone I’d been told they had no ocean view rooms, so was delighted to find a peek view of the breakers visible over hotel roofs. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a reading corner and a desk area. The wifi was fast and reliable. The included breakfast was good with plenty of choices, including yogurt and fresh fruit. We enjoyed the saltwater pool and hot tub, and the included bicycles, although those could use some maintenance. Mine had handlebars that would not stay up, and a broken bell. I heard one guest complaining about the slow elevator, but that did not bother us. I did notice a loose handrail in the elevator. It is clear the Saltline is attempting some environmentally positive moves, such as large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower, in place of those wasteful tiny bottles. However, more could be done. There should be a recycle bin in each room for bottles, old menus, newspapers, etc. I would also like to see ALL hotels rethink those single-use tea and coffee servings. All staff were polite and helpful. We especially appreciated the short walk to the bridge playing site. In short, although there are a few areas needing improvement, we would stay at the Saltline again, as the positives far outweigh any drawbacks.

    Nice hotel!

We stayed on the 3rd floor with 2 Queen beds. Our room was big enough and had a little peek-a-boo view of the ocean from our balcony! The location is great and an easy stroll to the beach and Broadway. The staff is very friendly. We rented bikes and they were really helpful with that. The breakfast was excellent - kudos to the Chef! They even had biscuits & gravy one morning. The downside is that the walls are thin in this hotel. We could hear our neighbor snoring and a dog whining at night.
