Very comfortable and affordable stay at The Chalets Resort Eagle Point
We booked two nights at The Chalets at Eagle Point Golf course, played golf and visited with friends. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was such a long drive from where we live in CA, but the accommodations and location really made a difference. I didn't feel like we were in a hotel, the rooms were spacious and clean. They were facing the 9th hole and were able to grab some cold drinks as we were playing. The golf course is excellent and got a chance to visit Crater Lake which is about an hour away. We'll be back!
Great room for families
We stayed at Resort at Eagle Point chalets in Oregon. Beautiful room on golf course. Had a connecting room with 2 queens for family with a living room with large TV, fireplace, couch, microwave and sink. Just perfect! Very friendly staff!
My husband and I just returned from a stay at the Chalets while visiting our daughter. The resort grounds sit right on the golf course, and the landscaping was beautiful with lots of flowers. While enjoying coffee on the patio, I saw hummingbirds and butterflies. We also saw wild turkeys roaming the property. The room was clean and nicely appointed with amenities. The carpets are due for a cleaning would be my only complaint with the room. It was nice to have the full breakfast since we booked direct, and we did use the fire table one night to make s’mores. There needs to be some additional lighting around the fire pit area, it was very dark. The only other thing that would make this resort elevated would be a hot tub for guests, other than golf, there isn’t much else. This will definitely be our home away from home while visiting our daughter.
Room / Landscaping Great - Restaurant not so much
We stayed one night on our 11 day road trip around Oregon at the Resort at Eagle Point. Our room was great despite the heavy footed people above us. Nice deep soaking tub, great shower pressure and the king bed and pillows were very comfortable. The landscaping around the grounds are beautiful. Would stay again if ever in the area but will go somewhere else to eat or have drinks. Prepaid $60 for a dinner for two which was for two entrees only come to find out two entrees don't even total $60.00 fortunately they were kinds enough to include our drinks and gave us one dessert. The food wasn't worth the price. Husband had fish 'n chips and he said they tasted like frozen fish not fresh. We both wanted the special but at 6 pm they were already out of it. So I had chicken marsala and they sent if out with polenta instead of the garlic mashed potatoes. Check was tough. Breakfast the next morning was okay except for the milk that curdled in my tea. Wait staff were very attentive.
