THE LAST GREAT MOTOR LODGE
This place is truly a hidden gem in Pendleton, Oregon. From the moment you arrive, you can tell this isn't just another motel—it's a family-owned and operated property where the owners genuinely care about every detail and every guest experience. The cleanliness is absolutely unmatched. Every room, hallway, common area, and outdoor space is spotless and meticulously maintained. It's easily one of the cleanest motor lodges we've ever stayed in. The pride of ownership shows everywhere you look. The hospitality is what really sets this place apart. The owners go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, comfortable, and appreciated. You aren't treated like a room number here—you are treated like family. For travelers with pets, this is a dream destination. The property's beloved dog, Astro, adds an extra touch of warmth and charm that guests instantly fall in love with. Astro makes the experience even more memorable and welcoming. The amenities are exceptional. Guests can relax in the sparkling clean swimming pool, unwind in the sauna, and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to recharge after a long day on the road. Everything is maintained to the highest standards. We've stayed at many places over the years, and when we come back to Pendleton, this is where we'll be staying. Out of all the lodging options available, we would choose this place again without hesitation. The combination of outstanding cleanliness, genuine hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and the care this family puts into their business makes it stand far above the rest. Whether you're passing through for one night or planning a longer stay, this motor lodge delivers an experience that is becoming harder and harder to find. The dedication and hard work of the family owners are evident in every detail, and it shows. We will absolutely be back, and we highly recommend this wonderful motor lodge to anyone visiting Pendleton. If you're looking for a place where you'll feel welcomed, comfortable, and appreciated, this is it. A true Pendleton treasure and one of the best places we've ever stayed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars all the way.

Good Value for Nicely Updated Old School Motel
This is an updated old school motel. As such, don’t expect elevators and big fancy lobbies. That said, it is a good value. Where can you find a room for under $100 these days that are up to date and clean. The bathrooms are functional albeit a little small. There are unique features like cord-cutting TV and an adult or non-alcohol libation at check-in. We stayed there on a Monday and it was quiet. I thought it might be a little noisy since the windows are single pain. Another reviewer said the HVAC was noisy but I thought it was quieter than most after I set the fan to low speed. Super helpful and pleasant staff both at check-in and check-out. We weren’t there long enough to try the pool and the hot tub looked empty of water.

Keep driving
We booked a 1st floor room when we originally booked because we have an old dog and he doesn’t do stairs well. When we arrived, we were given a second floor room, so it dog has to suffer. The chair in the room was missing a screw and when I sat In it, it went right over backwards. Thankfully I didn’t hit the wall. At 3am, the AC unit started squealing, so it had to be turned off. It was a bad experience all the way around. This is an old motel, that someone has thrown a coat of paint on. At first, it seems nice, but it wears off quickly after the first splash and it’s easy to see that it’s not well cared for. The foundation vents are broken out here and there. I’d hate to know what’s living underneath. Having done a little over 5,000 home inspections, I’d say it’s concerning.
