Perfect location for a walkable & dog-friendly vacation
Traveling with two dogs can be challenging, but this motel was perfect for us and so incredibly convenient. My dogs were welcomed with special blankets, towels & biscuits. The location in literally steps away from the sand, beachfront, very comfortable accommodations & we didn’t have to get in the car for the 3 days we were there because everything was walkable. I already booked a return trip to the same motel.

A very affordable stay on Cannon Beach
Lands End is the perfect, affordable, stay on Cannon Beach. It is prime location to many of this not too touristy beach town’s great offerings. Views of the ocean with steps down to the beach. A short beach walk to the Haystack provides those breathtaking photo opportunities. Insomnia Coffee is right behind the hotel so your caffeine kicks is very easily attainable. The front desk is very pleasant and helpful. Overall I can’t think of a better place and especially with an ocean view. Will be repeat visitor.

Good location but a tired property
We stayed at this place for 2 nights . The location is great …on the beach and right downtown for lots of option. The kitchen has everything you need for a few day visit. We found the place very tired. They take pets and I found the living room smelled like dogs. Pillows were very hard There was no housekeeping on the second day so we had no fireplace log or coffee replacement. All of this would be fine if the daily rate reflected the condition of the property.

A Great Hotel in A Great Location
We stayed in room 26 which had a bedroom with a queen and a pull out couch in the living room. The view was gorgeous and of the ocean. There was a full kitchen with a drip coffee maker. There was also a fireplace and heaters. The only negative is when you go during a heat wave. There is no air conditioning because it is usually not needed. We went during a heat wave, and we had to leave the door and windows open for a breeze They leave logs for the fireplace daily, but there was no way to use them in the extreme heat. The location was fabulous! There was a great coffee shop and donut shop within a block. There was also a delicious ice cream store and restaurants super close. The beach was beautiful with amazing sunsets. Just around the corner is the gorgeous and stunning Haystack Rock which I loved walking to every day. The wildlife that live there is fascinating, and I saw a starfish close by. I have not seen one in the wild before. There is a canal like water thing running beside the hotel which empties out into the beach. It gets deeper/ shallower with the tide, and you have to cross through it to get to another beach. My kids labeled this poopoo river since they said they saw dog turds floating in it. Everyone seemed to have dogs here and on the beach. The staff seemed friendly.

Lovely, sweet, excellent
Stayed 5 nights, single traveler, queen bed. I can only say good things. Staff friendly and helpful. Daily housekeeping, fresh banana bread/coffee/papayas every morning at 6:30 until 11am. Two story motel style, so if needed, request a Lower floor. Lovely garden behind hotel with walking path. 2 hotel cats wander the grounds. Full kitchen, but no coffee maker, so if you are up earlier than 6:30, you might want to be prepared. Microwave, full fridge, stove top/ oven, dishes, flatware. Bed was firm and perfect for me. Ceiling fan, plus standing fan, no a/c, windows open and have screens. The grounds are beautiful. The bedspreads old school. It is clean, comfortable, and I will happily stay again. 10 min walk to downtown, 15 min walk to farmers market, 20 min drive to botanical garden and turtle bay.
