The Inn at Seaside is located in the center of the action and adjacent to the Seaside Convention Center. Our location makes our Inn the obvious choice for beach lovers, families looking for a fun Oregon coast vacation and of course, conventioneers.

Great, dog-friendly Inn, found in a perfect location a for a really nice price!
We needed a dog friendly place to stay for a night on our way north along the Oregon Coast. We didn’t want to spend a ton, and needed a place for our pooch, ao this looked good. When we arrived it is a super cute little inn, it has a fire table and chairs outside the main lobby that are super fun. The staff were super nice and helpful. We were in the third floor, outside, and while it does have an elevator for carrying baggage, the stairs are nice as well. The room itself was super nice, with two queen beds and a sink in the bathroom as well as a sink outside the of the bathroom. This made it much easier for our little family of three girls and this guy. While the dog walk at the hotel is really small, the convention center across the street has dog bags and a large grassy area with a bench and view of the river. The Inn also had a doggie gift bag with a dog sheet to go over the bed, a bowl, a towel and dog treats. Nice touch! The breakfast was great, with different kinds of waffles and lots of options. The pool is small, but was kind fun for our kids, even though they are 16 and 13. The location is also nice, being close to some nice restaurants and shops but is also off the main drag, so it stays pretty quiet. For the price, this place would be hard to beat!

Definitely give it a try!
I was seeking a clean and safe place to stay that offered a kitchenette while I visited the coast. This room had one! My initial interaction with the staff person was very positive. She was incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful in getting me situated. The room was exactly what I needed and wanted. Most importantly, the bed was incredibly comfortable. I slept great each night, and I wasn't expecting to be so comfortable. The location of the Inn was great for my needs and wants as well. It was close to the ocean, boardwalk, restaurants, and surrounding area with outlet stores and even to Cannon Beach, and hiking trails not far away. Somehow it managed to be relatively quiet and peaceful so I could sleep at night with the windows open. I was also able to park my car in the lot, which felt safe. I managed to leave with minimal seagull poop, too. Breakfast wasn't anything special, and actually my one of two disappointments was the horrible coffee. I liked that they offered coffee, tea and hot cocoa 24/7. My room at the Inn offered a number of amenities of home such as a microwave, fridge, dishes, sponge, soap, paper towels and ability to use the laundry or access DVDs, were so helpful. There was also a really good selection of cable TV for the evenings. I never got to use the pool, but I really felt like this was a home away from home. When the other guests had dogs that barked it was annoying, but it wasn't all day long thankfully. I would say that my room could have been cleaner in areas. I felt the tub and dishes/kitchen counter top were not cleaned entirely. I carry Clorox wipes with me so i took care of that, and I made to sure to wash the dishes before I used them. Otherwise, it's always interesting having that much carpet in a room near a beach. I managed to keep it minimal. I think hardwood floors would help with cleanliness. I appreciated the general hospitality and friendliness of each staff person that I engaged with. There was only one person that wasn't friendly, but I'm thinking she had an issue of some sort because the kids (guests) at breakfast that day were creating chaos when it was really busy. She only smiled and greeted me on the third of four days I was there. The last day was a another staff person. The folks at the check out desk were incredibly helpful and friendly as always.

Just the facts
There is parking in the front, back, & end of building close to the river. There is also security cameras on every side of building, on every floor inside & outside showing entrance of rooms. A security camera in the ice n vending machine room, the pool, lobby, dining area, elevator, the office, & a baby cam with portable monitor. It’s safe

Excellent central, affordable option
This was our second trip to the Inn for the annual Presidents' Day basketball tournament and we were really impressed with the improvements made to the rooms since our previous visit several years ago. Our team stayed in a mix of rooms, including two- and one-bedroom suites, a two-queen studio suite, two-queen rooms with kitchenettes and two-queen rooms. While the regular two-queen rooms were pretty snug for families of 4, all the other rooms were spacious and we really appreciated the kitchens and extra bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure was always good with plenty of hot water, and the kitchens were well stocked. The staff was really a highlight. We had one family encounter a room snafu on arrival in a sold-out hotel situation and the staff were able to move them to a fancier sister hotel. The front desk was always gracious and helpful and even facilitated us hosting a team baby shower for one of the families in the lobby area. The pool is small but fun and had plenty of towels, something we haven't always encountered elsewhere. We also appreciated it closing at 10 so all the players could get plenty of sleep even in the rooms right off the pool. A few suggestions for improvement: 1. Hooks on the walls in the bathrooms would be great - our two-queen studio suite had two small bathrooms with showers but no hooks, which made drying our towels or hanging robes challenging. 2. Some hot protein breakfast options like sausage or bacon and scrambled eggs (maybe heatable breakfast sandwiches since there's a microwave?) would be huge - the players really need that protein boost in the mornings before games. We enjoyed our team stay so much we are already booked for 2026. You really can't beat the central location - we only used our cars to get to games and otherwise easily walked everywhere.

Return Visit: The Inn at Seaside
Return Visit: The Inn at Seaside My husband and I enjoyed five nights at The Inn at Seaside. We were in Seaside to play in our favorite bridge tournament of the year, held right across the street at the Convention Center. It is relaxing to walk to the event and not have to be jumping into the car every day. This property is also easily walkable to the Promenade and ocean. We have stayed at Inn at Seaside before and will do so again. We appreciate the 4 o'clock cookies, the DVD library, and the friendly staff. We would especially like to compliment Sarah, who checked us in and who seemed to be everywhere, checking the breakfast room, running the reception desk, and always with a smile and helpful suggestions. Thank you, Sarah!! The only negative I can think of is that the pool needs to be cleaned, and maybe warmed up by a degree or two. In the overall scheme of things, though, we would stay here again and we recommend it to other travelers.
