Overrated for sure!
This was a disappointment. Lacked the usual graciousness and friendly welcome of a B&B. Pets are allowed so we were awokened several times during the night by a barking/whimpering dog and his scratchy feet across the floor. At first, I thought there was an animal in our room! No elevator to the second floor which is fine but no offer to help with luggage. The carpet was wet in our room and not sure why. Bathroom door needed to be locked just to stay shut. Breakfast was included and adequate but lacked any charm. Close to beach but no beach views. Not worth the cost. Typically, I’m very happy with TripAdvisor ratings but disappointed with this one. If you are a discerning traveler, I don’t recommend.

A beautiful guesthouse by the Seaside
This is a beautiful guest House and met all of our expectations. The location was excellent in terms of its proximity to the beach and local shopping/dining. Our room was lovely. It was clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and it gave a lovely opportunity to chat with other guests.

Great little Inn at the beach.
Great little Inn, in a lovely antique home. Room was comfortable with just enough space to breathe while still cozy. Nice view of the ocean, which is just a few steps away.

Great historical stay
This historical hotel was where I chose to stay for my anniversary trip with my lovely bride of 34 years! The town was very busy due to a couple of events taking place but the moment we entered the front door it was very much like if we were in a different town by ourselves. We stayed in the top floor and had it all to ourselves and felt like we were in our own private suite. Every detail was fantastic! Would not think twice about staying here again and the staff was friendly.
