Beautiful Historic Inn
The Inn was very charming and we enjoyed our stay with 2 pups. It is very conveniently located so you can walk to shops, restaurants, and the Promenade. It was a great place to stay in Seaside. We give it thumbs and paws up.

Amazing B&B!
I stayed in Addie’s room at the Gilbert Inn and it was perfect! The bed was incredibly comfy and there was a lovely sitting area to read and relax. Breakfast in the dining room was delicious every morning. I loved the downstairs common area which was so well-preserved with a fireplace and antique seating. The staff at the Gilbert were responsive and very kind. I will absolutely be coming back again with my husband and parents!

Winter adventure
We had two kids with us, so the only room available with separate twin beds was on the top floor (probably original attic space). Took some creaky stairs to get there, but was fine for us. I love a good old home! Peek-a-boo view from up there, but huge condo complex next door kinda ruined the vibe a bit. The decor was nice and space upstairs was ample compared to some of the two person rooms we could see. A little noisy from others' TV's, but again, an old home. I wouldn't want to stay up there in the summer though as no A/C I'm sure as we saw multiple fans in the closets. Breakfast was pretty good and freshly made (just one person working hard in the small kitchen). Complementary DVD's were quite scratched up, but the games in the dining area were fun. Seemingly very young front desk clerks over the weekend weren't much help, but kind enough.
