Only 15 minutes in cabin. Won't refund a 75 year old elderly grandma. No compassion, no exceptions.
Upon arrival I was pleased with the scenery and the peace and quiet, having just being let out of the hospital. The mini cabin was extremely small, even for one person. The photos on the website were confusing, some were of the larger cabins and I suppose some were of the mini cabin, the bed in the "bedroom" was wall to wall. The TV was situated up near the ceiling in the living room so to watch TV you had to look up, straining your neck. The TV had two confusing controllers. I called the "owner" who tried to guide me through but couldn't. Perhaps he could have actually come to the cabin to help me but I don't know if he was on-site or not. I was in the cabin a maximum of 15 minutes, didn't feel comfortable so left the cabin. I texted that I was leaving and asked politely for a refund. He refused say there is " no refund". I rented the cabin mid week at a good price Dec. 10. His claim that he couldn't rent the place because of my reservation although I believe I rented the place only the day before. Money grabbing. If you decide to rent one of his cabins be sure the photo of the cabin is of the cabin you are renting. Very creative photos. Not as represented. Shame.

Little gem close to Terrebonne
These little cabins are a perfect place to stay if you are looking for something quieter and more scenic than your run of the mill hotel. The cabin was warm and cosy and had everything we needed for a one night stay. What we particularly liked is that it was a perfect place for our dogs. There was a large green area in front of the cute patio, and big undeveloped piece of land to the side, giving the dogs plenty of room to get some exercise. It was just a quick drive into Terrebonne for dinner. Would certainly stay there again if passing through the area.

Great if you're in a cabin, not the main lodge
I received confirmation from Meghan the day of arrival, that I was staying in one of their Superior Lodge Suites, even though my booking.com confirmation said a Deluxe Queen Studio, it sounded okay right? Anyway, its nothing like the cute little cabins in the pictures - it's a timber two storey house and I think 4 rooms in total connected by an external staircase. The timber house has no soundproofing from ground floor to first floor and the first night it sounded like a herd of elephants upstairs, which turned out to be 2 adults and 2 children... you hear everything! I hoped nobody would arrive the second night, but the same again. I messaged Meghan when I realised there was a total of 1 wine glass in the room and she said that's correct, people keep breaking them, so that is the last one. So, if you decide to stay there, BYO wine glasses!!!

Wonderful, Peaceful overnight stay!
I was looking for affordable accomodations in the area for one night while passing through. The prices in nearby Redmond were ridiculous. I happened on Crooked River Ranch, which is a bit out of the way, but WOW! what a find! I got in after dark, so I could not see the spectacular landscape. But I was so grateful for the comfortable, quiet cabin. I stayed with my dog, and we really enjoyed the peace. The bed was comfortable. The cabin had the basic amenities. Wifi was good. I liked that I could let my dog out just off the cabin's porch, and stand there with her while she sniffed about. In the morning, I woke to a gorgeous view out over the landscape. The staff were terrific about communicating instructions for check in, etc. I really, really want to return for a longer stay!

We'll be back soon!
The lodge suites are huge! We had plenty of room, fabulous views, all the amenities we wanted, and felt very welcomed. We are already planning our next visit here. The only downsides are: water pressure in the shower is not great, and there are no fireplaces (though there is a fire pit outside, but that's pretty minimal). Still, those are piddly things. We had a great time! Lovely area, too.
