Positives: -Beautiful location and a big space -Full fridge and kitchen -Walkable location -Clean space, no bugs which is a rare find for the coast Negatives: -When booking through Airbnb, the host does not have all house rules clearly written on the listing. This can cause miscommunication with the host about guest expectations. -No disability access without prior warning on the listing -Hosts required that we confirm phone numbers and communicate via text instead of the Airbnb app. Communication should be done through the Airbnb app so that any disagreements can be mediated by Airbnb. TL;DR: Great location in Astoria, but guests will be disappointed to find that hotel prices does not mean hotel service

This was our fourth stay at Clementines. There are other places near the downtown area, but none as charming. We love the ambiance and the location, as it is just a block away from all the restaurants, breweries and the waterfront, plus a great view of the river. The rooms have a warm feel, and we prefer that to the standard dull chain hotel. We love it at Clementine's and plan to go back for our next trip to Astoria.

Comfort Perfection
Perfection!! Absolutely loved our stay. I can’t think of a single thing that was lacking or could have been better. We stayed in the Riverview Loft. It is beautifully done with quality furnishings. The beds and bedding are likewise of high quality. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were clean and had more than enough towels. Check-in and checkout were easy and the host is quick to reply to messages. The garden outside is just lovely and the area is walkable with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I would live there forever if I could. Some have noted that breakfast is not included with your stay, but this was made very clear in the description and at the time of booking.

Great getaway in Astoria
We went for our anniversary and stayed in the Moose Lodge. The place was well equipped and very conveniently located. There is a gas fireplace that was wonderful when we came in from the cold. We walked to everything in town. It was surprisingly quiet at night given how close in it is. Judith is an excellent host.

Falsely advertised
The property is a funky, old sweet place with a lot of history. Accommodations are clean and well maintained. A lovely place. This was our second stay. My only complaint is that website claims to be a Bed and Breakfast. There is no breakfast. We weren’t told this until we arrived. They need to update their site to honestly advertise. No apology from the manager.
