Had a very pleasant stay at this beautiful Hotel. This was out 4th time and will likely return. Lots of wine tasting and good food nearby. Their Cypress restaurant serves super tasty dishes in a cool atmosphere. Complimentary amenities can improve, especially since this is an expensive boutique hotel.

The best hotel option in Willamette. The staff, decor, food, drink and lobby music were all top notch. The Luxury Bunkroom is a unique treat! We felt like kids again climbing into our bunks to sleep at night. Highly recommend for a girls getaway!

Perfection
The Atticus Hotel is an absolute gem of a find. It blends old-world character with effortless elegance. Upon entering, you experience soft, ambient lighting and an offer of a glass of champagne. The gracious service is attentive without feeling fussy. The concierge, Bernie, was beyond helpful. The room was refined, immaculate and inviting, balancing historic charm with quiet luxury. The gas fireplace and lights were on upon entering the room, making me feel immediately at home and welcome. My suite felt like a quiet sanctuary. The velvet sofa invited rest, and a bowl of hazelnuts with a nutcracker were just the thing after a tiring day. The red flowers outside my window, added a homey feel to the elegance. Coffee and tea were provided, with honey sticks and raw sugar. The restaurant offered delicious food with a great variety. The attentiveness and friendliness of the staff was impressive. One couldn't ask for a more amazing hotel experience!

Prime Location
This is a tough one. There are so many amazing things about this hotel. It is beautifully decorated, and the service is outstanding. Lobby, restaurant, bathrooms, and rooms spotless. So clean. The bed was so comfortable - one of the best I've experienced. Bathroom was outstanding - towels, amenities, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were all top notch. I usually use my own but loved theirs. I was going to purchase the shampoo and conditioner but they were $25 each! They said they are made especially for the Atticus. They were nice but not THAT nice. Valet was $15. This should have been complimentary based on the nightly rate. There is street parking but there are time limits. Complimentary weekday breakfast - very good! Fresh fruit (we had melon, blueberries and strawberries all week), a variety of fresh yogurts, bread, English muffins (with peanut butter, honey and jams), a meat and cheese plate, hard boiled eggs, fresh baked pastries and oatmeal. I believe the breakfast in Cypress on the weekends is $15? We skipped that on Saturday and went to Bierly Brewing right around the corner (don't let the name fool you). This place has the most amazing donuts and muffins. Hot food as well but we didn't try those items. Overall, pretty pricey. And quite noisy - street noise and some sort of buzzing or knocking throughout the night. So annoying. Coffee available in the mornings from behind the desk but dreadfully slow. Concierge responsiveness was a miss. Felt their only recs were their friends. One of the staff gave me a head shake with a sad face when I told her we were dining at Nick's. It was recommended to us from Nikki, our driver, from A Vineyard Wine Tour (avineyardwinetour.com - call her today!). We ended up eating there TWICE! Both times in the back area. Amazing atmosphere and food! Do not miss!
