If you are looking for a place to stay in Lincoln City, Oregon with easy beach access, and rooms appointed to remind you you are near the sea, while offering comfortable elegance, this is your place. Our breakfasts were delicious, served with candlelight overlooking the beautiful plantings around the Inn as well as in their spacious backyard. A dip in the hot tub under the stars was a nice way to relax at the end of the day of exploring the city as well as walking on the beach. We look forward very much to returning. We appreciated our hosts' recommendations for dinners. For us it was well worth staying there V versusnearby commercial or chain hotels with ocean views and perhaps a little bit more budget friendly for some.

One of a kind Inn
This was such an amazing experience. Liz and matt are both wonderful hosts. They have thought of everything to make the end. Comfortable stimulating, beautiful. The Inn is filled with beautiful pieces and lots of areas to enjoy. There's a lovely, hot tub outside seating, and you get to pick your own breakfast. And what time you'd like it to be served.

Exceptional experience at Salmonberry Inn
Wife and I spent 3 nights at the Salmonberry Inn on a trip to the Oregon coast. We have had scores of stays in B&B's over the past several years, so we've run the gamut of expectations achieved and denied. The inn is located with easy access to Siletz Bay and downtown Lincoln City, but it was the experience and treatment that made this stay exceptional. The Inn and grounds were beautifully maintained. Our hosts Ken and Liz live at the Inn and were available at all times for assistance or conversation (unlike so many B&B's where the hosts are absent in some remote location). When we arrived, Liz met us and rightaway toured us through the Inn. Expertly prepared meals (thank you Ken and Liz), literally hundreds of books for the readers among us, hot tub...it's all there. Oh, and how many times have you tried to watch TV on a tiny screen located like an afterthought across the room or on a side wall? Not here...a huge movable screen directly facing the foot of the bed. Not sure how to sum this up, except to say it was like staying your favorite family member's home.

Not like the pictures online! The house is dingy and not well kept. Animals are all over the moldy deck furniture, which is bad when you’re allergic! We booked this place for our pre wedding and wedding night. The wildfires kicked up in Lincoln City as we arrived. We stayed the first night with no power and thick, heavy smoke. They started evacuating the town the next day, so we chose to leave. Liz said her husband said he couldn’t take it, either, but she wasn’t leaving unless it was catastrophic. I guess she expected the same from us, because she only refunded a VERY small amount of our payment. We prepaid for 2 nights and a dinner and cake.... that we never got. We knew when we arrived that the place was not as we had pictured, but we had no idea it would be the worst part of our Pacific Northwest trip! There are plenty of other places to stay, don’t stay here!

Exceeded Expectations - First Time Guests - We will be back!
My wife deemed Salmonberry Inn the highlight of the weekend, given it exceeded expectations. Delivered an authentic B & B experience – we were contacted by Liz about 10am during our dive down towards Lincoln City introducing herself and asking what our preference was for check-in. We were about a half hour out of town and she said to feel free to stop and drop our overnight bags in the room that was ready. Talk about amazing customer services and attention to detail. The owners were not only accessible, but fully integrated with guests. Accommodating, knowledgeable re activities/dining etc. Room was very comfortable and private, clean and had everything you needed. The Inn is clean, well-appointed and made you feel welcomed - not like a “guest”. I am a Marriott Titanium level traveler, I know what a good room/experience is – if you are looking to have an amazing stay while in Lincoln city, skip the traditional hotel and stay at Salmonberry Inn. We will definitely return.
