WORST PART OF OUR PNW TRIP

Not like the pictures online! The house is dingy and not well kept. Animals are all over the moldy deck furniture, which is bad when you’re allergic! We booked this place for our pre wedding and wedding night. The wildfires kicked up in Lincoln City as we arrived. We stayed the first night with no power and thick, heavy smoke. They started evacuating the town the next day, so we chose to leave. Liz said her husband said he couldn’t take it, either, but she wasn’t leaving unless it was catastrophic. I guess she expected the same from us, because she only refunded a VERY small amount of our payment. We prepaid for 2 nights and a dinner and cake.... that we never got. We knew when we arrived that the place was not as we had pictured, but we had no idea it would be the worst part of our Pacific Northwest trip! There are plenty of other places to stay, don’t stay here!

Exceeded Expectations - First Time Guests - We will be back!

My wife deemed Salmonberry Inn the highlight of the weekend, given it exceeded expectations. Delivered an authentic B & B experience – we were contacted by Liz about 10am during our dive down towards Lincoln City introducing herself and asking what our preference was for check-in. We were about a half hour out of town and she said to feel free to stop and drop our overnight bags in the room that was ready. Talk about amazing customer services and attention to detail. The owners were not only accessible, but fully integrated with guests. Accommodating, knowledgeable re activities/dining etc. Room was very comfortable and private, clean and had everything you needed. The Inn is clean, well-appointed and made you feel welcomed - not like a “guest”. I am a Marriott Titanium level traveler, I know what a good room/experience is – if you are looking to have an amazing stay while in Lincoln city, skip the traditional hotel and stay at Salmonberry Inn. We will definitely return.

Funky, but friendly hosts

Stayed 2 nights on our Oregon coast road trip. Location near the beach but fronts a public parking lot. Good breakfast. Nice owners. Our room was spacious and clean, but designed by Dr. Seuss... The TV screen was on top of the piano. I had to walk through the shower to get to the toilet. (Really!) Best to get high before you arrive.

Perfect Place

We came to Lincoln City to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. Liz and Matt were very friendly and accommodating to us and our dogs we brought with us (I don’t recommend bringing your dogs unless you plan to take them everywhere with you or know for certain they won’t bark when left unattended). The breakfast was amazing and the location was great, close to restaurants and beach access. They had a stocked bar with beer and wine for guests which was a nice surprise! Lots of places to sit and relax around the property, including a hot tub. Highly recommend over a hotel.

A True Gem

I stayed one night here, and wish I could stay several more! The house and grounds are beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable, and the beach is just a few steps away. Complimentary wine or beer on arrival, a garden hot tub to soak away your travel aches, and a wonderful host all make this a real gem on the Oregon Coast!
