Built in the 1880s, this restored victorian farmhouse has evolved to reflect modern eurasian aesthetics, a passion for fine art and an affinity for simple, metropolitan style. The Morical House Garden Inn is home to nine quietly seductive guest rooms located on two acres of master gardens and lawns set against views of Grizzley Peak.

Charming Place
Excellent location about a mile from the downtown Ashland Plaza and all the Shakespeare Festival theaters. We loved parking our car in the Morical House lot and never moving it until we were ready to leave. We had the French Lace room, #3 in the main house. It was spacious and comfortable. The property has a lovely garden and deck area for relaxing, a comfy sitting room in the main house. Owner Alicia and her staff made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. The morning coffee was divine.

Lovely bed and breakfast
This lovely bed and breakfast is perfectly situated outside of town, but close enough for a quick drive to shops and restaurants. Spotlessly clean. The owner cooks the inventive breakfasts, served with style and chats easily with guest providing great tips for travelers. The place is darling with lovely views, wandering deer, and a tranquil garden setting. Our only recommendation is to offer softer pillows and more upscale robes as the ones provided had stains and seemed worn. Also, the throw pillows and decorative throw that is put on the bed over the clean linens did not appear clean. I suspect it was because the room was very clean but maybe it also just needs upgrade. Overall, it was a lovely stay we we highly recommend.

Best B&B Breakfast, Ever!
I'm torn. On the one hand I want to keep this gem of a B&B to myself. On the other, it's just too good of a place not to say anything about. We discovered Morical House several years ago when looking for a place to stay while we were in Ashland seeing plays at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. We fell in love with place and haven't seen the need to go anywhere else. So many things to love about this property.... - Alicia, the proprietress, is a font of knowledge about the local area, the best restaurants to go to, the best wineries, and all the things you'd ever want to do while staying in Ashland. - The breakfasts are spectacular. Hands down the best food I've ever had at B&B and probably 95% of the restaurants I've ever been to. They serve a three course breakfast! This is not your typical eggs and bacon in steamer trays type of place. This farm to table local fare that is beautiful and delicious. - The gardens are beautiful and there's a deck overlooking the valley that's a nice place to have some wine on a warm afternoon. - The rooms are lovely. We've always stayed in the carriage house and rooms 6 and 7 have fireplaces and window seats. Perfect for lazing away the afternoon reading. - The inn is located a little under a mile from the edge of the plaza, which is a perfect distance to walk off the delicious food you'll have at breakfast. In short Morical House is an oasis, a welcome respite from the outside world. We'll definitely be back.

Charming, peacful, affordable... and jetted bathtub (ahhhh!)
We were lucky enough to find availability at short notice, and stayed in one of the cottages. #1. The price was already a great value, so we were expecting maybe a small place that looks good in pictures (which I've had at other places). What we found when we arrived far surpassed any of our expectations. The grounds and the main house common rooms were clean, organized, charming and elegant. A large field cleanly manicured with bee-friendly plants and cute benches to sit and read or just breathe. #2. The Room... How do you say, friggin awesome?!?! We loved it. large king size bed, very comfy, and I got a good night sleep (and I have a very spoiled low back from my bed at home). Small eating nook with fridge, reading bench with comfy pillows. The Bathroom was huge with 2-person jetted tubs (hubba hubba), and a walk-in shower. We did not take advantage of breakfast, but I really enjoyed every moment of our stay, and we look forward to staying here again. Thanks to Management!

Cozy, friendly B&B
Comfy, spacious, clean room (#6) with huge bathtub, terrycloth robes, fridge in room. Delicious 3 course breakfasts. Very helpful advice about sights, restaurants, etc. The host & owner Alicia could not have been more friendly and helpful. Definitely plan to return for a future visit to Ashland.
