Delicious, Delightful, Historic Adventure and Refuge
Step back into history with all of the modern comforts and conveniences. John and Victoria have created a home of sumptuous time travel. The beds and bath are beautifully decorated, sparkling and full of visual delights. The breakfast is a gourmet feast. Visiting Roseburg is an easy walk through a charming town full of antique and thrift shops. Good restaurants are just down the street. The grounds are gardened and bursting with plant life. Jon and Victoria are welcoming and easy going. They communicate well and operate clearly and as stated. Great rates for such exciting, delicious, historic accommodations.

deluxe breakfasts in an historic home
As host of this B&B in a charming 19th-century house, John is friendly and attentive. A former chef, he cooks a beautifully presented and scrumptious breakfast. Roseburg offers a number of diversions, including the Douglas County Museum, the Discovery Garden, a quaint downtown (mere blocks from the B & B), and 24 wineries in the area.

Quaint, clean,DELICIOUS and huge breakfast
Super comfortable and charming home. We were able to walk to our choice of restaurants for dinner. We had the most delicious breakfast, I don't think I will need to eat for a week! The host, John, is a delight to talk with.

This is just a delightful place !!
We stayed here with friends a week ago, and are so glad we found it. I was wonderful! The house is a walk back in time, with amazing decor, fun antiques and historical items. John was so fun to get to know, and was a very gracious host. He went above and beyond with any request we had, and was so fun to visit with! And the food - it was amazing!! Delicious breakfasts, served elegantly and comfortably. I would recommend this place!

So friendly, so close
Thoroughly enjoyed a 3 day stay here in July 2021. Not many options in Roseburg. Wife stayed a hotel on the river, supposedly 3 star, earlier in the month and it was bad. Decided to try this. First John is exceedingly friendly. He offered to drive me back and forth from the little airport. The place is spotless. If you like antiques and stories, the place is packed with them. So much character. Breakfasts change each day and I was stuffed. He will make anything you want. Juice, fruit, eggs, bacon, waffles, omelettes and more. Location is great with 2 block walk downtown yet quiet at end of a street at night. parking easy. Price is right. Bring check/cash. No credit cards.
