We have had the privilege of staying at the C.H. Bailey House B and B many times over the years and I can't say enough about this enchanting and charming inn nestled in the outskirts of Roseburg in an idyllic setting. We have stayed in a number of rooms here and each one has it's unique ambiance and a full private bath. The rooms are beautifully appointed and offer lovely views whether it be of the surrounding hills, the grazing cows or the beautiful english gardens. Some have a separate sitting area and the Brenner Suite is a completely private one bedroom space with a full kitchen and private access to the gardens and property. The hosts have taken care of every comfort of home and then some to make your stay truly.memorable. The property has lovely amenities such as bocci ball courts, a hot tub, and lovely gardens. There are many seating areas to enjoy as well, whether on the front porch, in the garden, or around the fire pit. There is also a gorgeous renovated barn perfect for weddings and large gatherings complete with a half bath and kitchen area. The C'H. Bailey house is conveniently located driving distance to the many excellent wineries in the area, downtown Roseburg for dining and music, and a day trip to Crater Lake. The hosts are the icing on the cake and provide exceptional hospitality, warmth and knowledge of all that the area offers. I promise that a stay at the historic C.H. Bailey house will be a truly memorable one in every way.

Best Ever
This amazing place truly deserves all its five star reviews. Hosts are wonderful, with careful attention to details that make a stay here perfect. Grounds are impeccably kept and beautiful. Hot tub is perfect, just outside the door. It’s country living at its best with many choices of quiet places to sit and enjoy the outdoors. We had a glass of wine on the front porch, in the garden and while playing bocce ball (not all on the same day). We loved everything about our comfortable accommodations—each room is well appointed and had everything we needed. The bocce ball courts are professional and we had fun playing a new sport. They host weddings, too, and if we decide to get married there is no place we’d rather throw that party than here. Thanks to our wonderful hosts for one of the best stays ever, anywhere! (Sorry my review is late…….I intended to write it as soon as I got home.)

Hard to beat a place this perfect
I don't write many reviews but when I do, I save it for those places that truly wow me. I'm an off-the-beaten-path kind of guy, and this B&B is totally that. To some, that might imply rustic or lacking in amenities, but Aha! This is one of those places you can't wait to tell all your friends about. We got a beautiful room with a private bath and gorgeous view of the surrounding farm land. The whole property is quiet, but thinking of it now, I picture us swinging on the covered front porch, admiring the trees and garden. Or sitting in the other even more beautiful bigger garden. Or playing on the perfectly manicured bocce ball court. Or the hot tub. Or the to-die-for breakfast. I think you get the idea. The love put into this place comes from proprietors Sherry and Jay and they are exactly what you'd want them to be. Warm, funny and accommodating, or leaving you totally to your privacy...whichever you want. I've stayed at dozens of B&Bs and I have yet to find one better than this.

Tranquil place
Amazing place. First thing you should know, this is about a 15 minute drive from downtown Roseburg, out in the country a ways. Extremely peaceful, apart from the occasional cow mooing! If you’re looking for peace and quiet, either for a romantic getaway/ or a place to meditate alone - this is perfect. Sherry is an amazing host and doesn’t miss the slightest detail. The bungalow/ cottage is the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed and was decorated how someone would want their home as opposed to a”just a rental “ We had a full kitchen with everything you need to cook for yourself. That’s said, Sherry provided a delicious egg and sausage breakfast dish with fresh organic fruit and muffins. In the fridge was orange juice / sparkling water and organic milk. The bed was very comfy with crisp high quality linens and towels. Bath robes in the walk in closet were a great add. The living area has a TV with as many channels as anyone would need. Not sure why anyone would want TV when you can walk outside to the tranquillity of the gardens. Lovely seating areas with a water feature, gas fireplace and flowers and plants. We played bocce ball with a beer in hand which is complementary from the keg in the barn. Thanks and Kudos to Sherry for running a classy business. 😀 She’s an inspiration.

Great B&B in Roseburg, Oregon.
Just stayed here recently for one night. Beautiful property with a private entry apartment adjoining the main house. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and immaculate. We were given a cheese platter and bottle of wine upon arrival. Breakfast was delicious! Overall could not ask for a better accommodation. Would not look any further if planning a stay in this area. Thanks Sherry!
