Excellent stay and top notch amenities, service, food and location at the Black Walnut Inn. If you are planning a trip to Willamette Valley wine country, this place is a perfect spot to be right in the middle of many top notch wineries. The service was excellent, the food (breakfast, snacks, etc) was also great. We unfortunately did not get to try Anthology, but had many people recommend it during our wine tasting trips. We also had a tasting at Four Graces winery, which is located as part of the complex where the Inn was located, and that was also fantastic. We will definitely come again!

A Little Oregon Magic 🍇
The Black Walnut Inn was absolutely perfect for our Pinot Noir getaway! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The views are breathtaking, the rooms was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious. Everything was beautifully done. We had dinner reservations in town each night, but ended up canceling every one of them because we loved the Cellar at the inn so much. The food, wine, atmosphere, and service made it hard to leave. And a special shout-out to Ryan, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He was fantastic! If you're looking for the perfect place to relax, take in gorgeous views, and be genuinely cared for, Black Walnut Inn is it. We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

Our 2nd visit & its still just as beautiful & peaceful as the 1st time. We did notice a slight downturn in service this time. I am guessing since the expansion & new ownership priorities have changed. Some days our room wasnt cleaned completely. Coffee & wine glasses were left, coffee, milk, toilet paper & tissues not replaced, Left me feeling uneasy about the cleanliness of the room. I mentioned to a girl at the desk who gave me supplies and took the old glasses. I have no idea if she let management know. The staff was nice but most were very young & inexperienced in hospitality. Breakfasts are still lovely but quality has changed. Some baked goods arrived ice cold in the center, clearly frozen. And the poor animals that are now on the property had such dirty drinking water! We were curious who cared for them. They added a $25 daily fee butbits unclear what that was for. Overall, its a beautiful place to stay in the valley. Beds are comfy. I hope they dont let the place go. As the black walnut ages they should do some maintenance to the rooms. They need to keep it at the level it once was for the price.

A Venue That Treats Every Detail Like It Matters
As a wedding planner in the Pacific Northwest, I work with a lot of venues, and Black Walnut Inn & Vineyard is the kind of partner who makes my job easier and my clients happier. I planned a wedding here this summer, and every piece of it, from the lead-up to the reception, reflected a level of care that is hard to find. Rachelle guided us through the planning process and bent over backwards for our couple. Every question got a real answer, every request got a real solution, and nothing felt like an afterthought. The food matched that effort. The duck and dumpling appetizer, smoked duck breast with ricotta dumpling, blueberry, and house cultured cream, was one of the best passed bites I have had at a wedding. Guests split between the beef fillet with squash puree and roasted fingerling potatoes and the steelhead salmon with lemon-apricot gastrique, and both came out beautifully and on time for a full room. The cherry and pistachio dessert, pistachio cake with elderflower ice cream and bing cherry, closed out the night perfectly. On the day, Crystal and Stacy ran service without a single gap. They anticipated what our couple and guests needed before anyone had to ask, which is exactly what I look for in a venue team. Black Walnut Inn & Vineyard treats every detail like it matters, because to them, it does. I recommend them to my couples without hesitation and look forward to planning here again. Wonderful Stay
We pulled up to The Black Walnut which was amazing, the drive up and view was breathtaking. The wine tasting was good. The Cellar was a great place to unwind in the afternoon with cocktails and food. I have to say the menu was small but the food was amazing. Breakfast was included and amazing as well. There were a few different types of rooms so make sure you check out on line what your looking for in a view. Nick the manager was always available to chat. We had a wonderful anniversary at the Black Walnut.
