Oregon Caves Visitor Center

Open spring through fall during the cave-tour season. (See Operating Hours and Seasons.) This visitor center offers cave tour ticket sales, information, exhibits about the Oregon Caves and the Siskiyou Mountains, Junior Ranger programs, bookstore, and is the trail juncture for Cliff Nature Trail and Big Tree Trail. The park store sells a variety of materials for the curious visitor.

Long cave tour waits and sell outs can occur during summer months. Tour tickets are available here, but we strongly recommend stopping at the Illinois Valley Visitor Center first in Cave Junction to learn current conditions and to buy your tickets there. It is a 45-minute, one way, drive from there to the park. Don’t be disappointed. Learn current conditions first at the Illinois Valley Visitor Center before you make the drive.

For visitor information outside of cave-tour season, visit the Illinois Valley Visitor Center located at 201 Caves Highway in Cave Junction.
