This was so fun and we had a great time on the Rogue! My wife and I had never tried SUP before and Gold Paddle Tour Co. was awesome. Tyson explained everything, demonstrated techniques thoroughly and was with us the entire trip. The online booking, the check-in and shuttle to the river, the time on the river and the shuttle back to the shop was a great experience. Their hospitality and enthusiasm was super, the equipment was top-notch and we felt safe and like we were there only customers. Tyson, Bailey and Tim are a great team. We highly recommend their company and this adventure on the Rogue River. Can't wait to do it again.

Beginner to ready to do it again-er
It was only my second time ever paddle boarding, and I have a slight “concern” with moving bodies of water. The guides made me feel super comfortable and safe and gave me what they called “the Cadillac” of boards to make me more at ease. I ended up enjoying myself so much that I am here with a Review to encourage anyone who is even considering it to try it out. They will take Good care of you here, guaranteed’

Paddle boarding on the river is way better than on a lake, especially with a guide
My wife and I had such a fun and memorable experience with this company doing something we had not really done before, paddling down the Rouge River on a Paddle Board. They were very Professional with a great store front for us to meet in. They had sunscreen and other items for sale if we needed them. They lent us some carinbeeners and mesh bags for the float. They got us all the gear and we were on our way. Tyson was our shuttle driver and he was very informative about the area. He also took some great photos of us during our trip. Tim was a fantastic guide, teaching us what we needed to know about paddle boarding on a river versus on a lake. He showed us the best lines depending on our skill level. It was a nice mixture between fun waves to ride and calm peaceful flat water. It is easy enough that may people can do this and have a terrific time though if you want to test yourself there are some areas to see how good of balance you really have. I highly recommend this to beginners and intermediate water and adventure enthusiasts. Gold Paddle Tour Company is the way to go.
