    A Delicious Afternoon with Colleagues

    I work for a small non-profit and we had the pleasure of going on a tour with Heidi in January 2024. Our team had such a great afternoon together and Heidi gave us a lot of time on our own to team build while also sharing just enough information with us to pique our interest in these delicious local spots. Heidi was so incredibly accommodating to our many diverse dietary needs as well (as were the restaurants we visited). She was also super responsive during the planning process and made sure I felt confident that she was meeting our needs all along the way. I highly recommend Heidi and Forktown Tours! Our experience was exactly what we were looking for.

    Highly recommend tour. Heidi has an enthusiasm that is contagious. She shared with us Portland’s food and cultural history by tasting a solid spectrum of food and drinks that represent the complexity of what Portland is.

    Touring the Amalfi Coast

    Recently returned from a trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy organized by Heidi. She put together a great itinerary and a top-notch group of guides that led us through the various sights and sound of this wonderful region. No, it wasn't all food but we did sample some tasty treats along the way. Pizza, of course, as well as a sampling of fried seafood on the streets of Naples, dinner at a small winery prepared by the owners, lunch at a Buffalo Mozzarella farm, and a last night Michelin Star restaurant experience. Incredible tour of Pompeii as well Capri and the various town that dot the Amalfi Coast. Heidi was great at making sure that everything ran smoothly.

    Can't Recommend Heidi's multi-day tours enough!

    My husband and I went on a 9-day Tuscany tour with Heidi and five other couples. It was beyond-words amazing! We stayed in beautiful hotels, went to quaint little wineries for food and wine pairings, a goat-cheese farm for lunch and wine, made home-made pasta and tasted olive oil. I cant even begin to describe how great and effortless the trip was. It was places we would never have found on our own.

    Eat in Portland like a local - The best food tour ever!

    Forktown Food Tours was amazing! We felt all our needs were cared for throughout the tour, from food allergies/restrictions, to making sure were hydrated and happy. Heidi, the guide, was so knowledgeable about Portland history and culture, architecture, agriculture and other food and beverage facts. She even gave us amazing local nature and restaurant recommendations that filled up the rest of our trip. She has clearly built amazing relationships with the proprietors at each stop and we really felt like VIPS. Heidi's passion for all things culinary seeped into every corner of this tour, which made it an incredible and memorable adventure for our whole group. We wish there was a Forktown in every town!
