I really enjoyed this! Our guide Mike was great. He made sure we knew what we were doing and kept us safe. He also shared lots of info about the wildlife and historical sites. Not many seals, but one was curious and followed us for quite a while. There was a HUGE flight of swallows, and many groups of Pigeon Guillemots who make beautiful chirping sounds. And who knew that Canadian Geese nest on Sea Stacks?? It was a beautiful sunny day and a great trip. I only wished it lasted longer....

A definite highlight of my trip along the Oregon coast! Our guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable and an excellent guide!
A friend and I did the kayak tour in Port Orford this morning and had a superb time! We saw seals, lots of birds, starfish, and sea urchins. Our guide, Mike, was extremely knowledgeable and an excellent guide! Highly recommend!

Experience of a lifetime with blue whales
My friend and I had the experience of a lifetime. We had a pod of eight blue whales surround us and they ate. They rolled and ate, rolled and ate and we got to watch. There were about 5 other blue whales surrounding this group of 8. It was magical and made possible by the whale tracking skills of our host, Dave with South Coast Tours. A whale whisperer perhaps, because these whales aren't normally seen in this area. Hard to put into words the 2 hours or so that we witnessed. What magnificent beings!

A thrilling adventure
This was one of the most thrilling adventures I could have imagined. We got a ways off shore and into the middle of many blue whale who were spouting and turning and sharking all around us. I did not take a phone or photos but I will always remember this trip.

Fabulous and Fun!
We had an amazing trip on the Port Orford Ocean Wildlife Tour. Our guide, Grant, was so knowledgeable about the area wildlife and the kelp beds, and history of the port. Low tide so we saw so many sea stars, barnacles, urchins, anemone, mussels, sea birds, sea lions. So thankful that our tour was not cancelled since we were the only 2 signed up. Grant took wonderful pictures for us also. Highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing the life on the rocky areas from a totally different perspective from the beach.
