Kayaking down the Chetco for a birthday adventure. Adam was a terrific guide handling us beginners. He covered all safety aspects concerning the kayak and gave us tips on how to maneuver it for a smooth ride while pointing out interesting wildlife on our tour. He was very patient, kind and personable. Would definitely book again.

Great tour company, beautiful scenery
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Rogue River Intermediate Tour (small whitewater) tour with Dave as our guide. On this half day inflatable kayak trip we enjoyed lovely scenery, wildlife, and fun easy whitewater. It was all very approachable class I-II water suitable for anyone with just a little experience. Dave was a delightful guide and great company on this float. We will book other trips with South Coast on our next trip to the southern Oregon coast.

Sealed it!
I went by myself with two others, a lovely family. Our guide was amazing and the seals were icing on the cake. I think in all my years of kayaking (I may reveal my age if I tell you how many years Ive been kayaking) this was by far my most favorite time.

Professional knowledgeable guides & a great little paddle through nature
I really enjoyed this! Our guide Mike was great. He made sure we knew what we were doing and kept us safe. He also shared lots of info about the wildlife and historical sites. Not many seals, but one was curious and followed us for quite a while. There was a HUGE flight of swallows, and many groups of Pigeon Guillemots who make beautiful chirping sounds. And who knew that Canadian Geese nest on Sea Stacks?? It was a beautiful sunny day and a great trip. I only wished it lasted longer....

A definite highlight of my trip along the Oregon coast! Our guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable and an excellent guide!
A friend and I did the kayak tour in Port Orford this morning and had a superb time! We saw seals, lots of birds, starfish, and sea urchins. Our guide, Mike, was extremely knowledgeable and an excellent guide! Highly recommend!
