Good Morning, A few years ago, I rented a mountain bike and a friend and I were shuttled to the upper end of the MRT. Recently, we were shuttled to the top of the MRT again for round two! Prior to the shuttle, we contacted you last minute due to our lack of planning ahead. Apparently, we missed the morning shuttle. You contacted us soon after regarding other options and the afternoon shuttle. Fast forward a few hours to drive from Eugene. We arrived with our bikes, helmets, food, water, and emergency medical supplies. However, during our last minute packing, I forgot one important item - shoes!!! I checked the local markets for shoes for sale, with no luck. I considered riding in sandals, probably not the best idea. I also considered using some water shoes from the rafting supplies. Anyway, last minute, you loaned me a pair of personal mountain bike shoes! During the shuttle ride, we were provided with all the appropriate updates regarding trail conditions, useful tips, and a bit of local geology and history. We successfuly completed ride #2, meaning no injuries and no rescue. After - I recall inquiring about trail changes due to technical challenges - NOPE - we were just out of practice and humbled as usual. Anyway - the purpose of this email is to express my gratitute for your excellent service. Shuttle Service is Amazing for hiking!
Used the shuttle service this weekend for a through hike of the McKenzie River Trail. Gary was awesome and gave us an overview of some landmarks that we'd see on the hike and provided us with great info! Gary also offered to drive our car to the lower trail head for the next morning since we were staying the night at Belknap. Took him up on that and it was so nice to end the hike and be able to hop in our car and be on the way. Thanks again!

Awesome rafting trip
This was our second year taking their river rafting trip on the beautiful McKenzie River. We did the six hour trip and also enjoyed a wonderful gourmet lunch. Karyn was our fabulous guide and kept it fun and safe while sharing her area knowledge and passion for the nature and wildlife. Great family and friend experience!

Bike Shuttle
I used Horse Creek's shuttle service to the top of the Mackenzie River Trail. Gary was very helpful and gave me advice that I would have literally been lost without. The trip for me was much harder than I anticipated and it may have come to the point that I needed a ride from part-way down the mountain back to the Horse Creek Lodge. They were proactive in calling me to make sure I was ok. Thank you to Gary and his wife!
