Show more info about Scio

A tour of Scio quickly reveals why this little burg is called the “Covered Bridge Capital of the West.” Five of the remaining historic, scenic structures (and one new one) span the creeks and rivers surrounding town on these quiet country back roads southeast of Salem. Explore Scio’s railroad history at the Scio Historical Depot Museum, and herd your flock to watch the nation’s oldest sheepdog trials at the annual Lamb & Wool Fair.

Willamette Valley

Scio is located in Willamette Valley, the agricultural heart of Oregon where family farms grow everything from blueberries and hazelnuts to Christmas trees and tulips and some of the world's best pinot noir.

Nearby cities are: Stayton, Sublimity, Aumsville, and Lebanon.
