Mount Angel

Show more info about Mount Angel

Founded by Swiss and German immigrants, the Willamette Valley community of Mt. Angel celebrates Old World heritage with modern flair. Benedictine monks of the Mount Angel Abbey welcome visitors to stroll the tranquil grounds and sample their latest discipline: craft beer. Browse downtown antique shops, view the famous glockenspiel and sip Willamette Valley wine at local tasting rooms. Don a dirndl, raise a stein and grab a sausage at the annual Oktoberfest.

Willamette Valley

Mount Angel is located in Willamette Valley, the agricultural heart of Oregon where family farms grow everything from blueberries and hazelnuts to Christmas trees and tulips and some of the world's best pinot noir.

Nearby cities are: Silverton, Woodburn, Aurora, and Canby.
