Waldport is a charming, low-key town on the Central Oregon coast that is alive with outdoor recreation opportunities, from kayaking its picturesque bay to hiking the forested hills to combing its miles of sandy beaches. Play a round of golf or explore the area’s eateries—with words like flounder, sea and salty in their names—or shop the town’s antiques stores.

On the third Saturday of September each year the town of Waldport comes alive with excitement and anticipation for the Cruzin’ For Crab event. The main attraction is the car show that includes 22 classes of vehicles, for which a one-of-a-kind mounted fused-glass crab trophy can be awarded. Other activities include food booths, a Poker Walk, drawings for items and gift certificates and a craft fair.
