Rockaway’s long sandy beach is the focal point of this family-friendly, laid-back community. Here, visitors can hike nearby Neahkahnie Mountain, go clamming, crabbing or fishing (the lakes here are stocked with trout). Annual events include: the Kite Festival, Wine Cheese and All That, and Arts & Crafts.
