Zigzag sits smack in the middle of the Mt. Hood National Forest and is the gateway to a gorgeous outdoor playground along the Mt. Hood Scenic Byway next to the Sandy River. Stop at the ranger station for tips on the best hiking, fishing, biking, horse-back riding, berry picking, mushroom hunting and camping.

Zigzag is located in Mt. Hood / The Gorge, home to the towering cliffs and waterfalls of the Columbia River Gorge and the snowy peak of Mt. Hood.

Nearby cities are: Welches, Rhododendron, Brightwood, and Corbett.
